Q: What is the difference between 10scb and 10scx besides the price?

The 10scx is preschooler with 6lb test, the 10 sub is spooled with 10lb test. I know it says 10scx but I don’t think it came with that? In addition the 10scb has a higher gear ration, thus a faster retrieve rate. Hope this helps.

Q: can 20 lb test line be put on this reel and work?

I don't see why not, Use heavier line means you can't have as much of it.

Q: Can I use braided (spider wire) on this reel

I use a thin strip of electrical tape as a backer then run Kastking KastPro 6 lbs test. Not as smooth as mono though. I think maybe P-line tcb8 with Teflon coating would be the best braid to use. Remember to scrape off the coating of what ever braid you try with your fingernail before tying knots.

Q: Can it be used for left-handed?

Can the handle be put on other side of the reel or do you have to hold the reel so it's facing up? Sounds ridiculous but I want to be sure before buying..it's a deal breaker for me if you can't reel with your left hand comfortably.
