Hello, yes when using this product spray a light mist from mid-shaft to end of your towel dried hair. Do not rinse the product off. You can then blow dry to style.

Does it leave your hair softer?

Yes. I've been using this product for over a year. My hair is color treated. Before blow drying my hair, I spray a little in my hand and rub it into my hair. Then begin blow drying. My hair feels soft, silky and smells great.
