Nice solid box. Well made. This box is a bit taller than some others so it holds quite a bit more without such a big footprint. Plus it looks beautiful too - just like it is pictured.

Opulent and Luxurious phone jail
The box is the perfect size for what I bought it for. It is lightweight, the lock works, and there is no lining on the inside. The carved pattern in the lid is pretty and fits in well with my decor. I'm going to add a liner to the bottom for my precious but evil iphone.I bought this to lock my phone inside of, to save myself from its evil powers. When my phone is out and free, I find myself reaching for it out of habit, and once I do I often cycle through apps and lose track of time. The time isn't really that enjoyable, either. When my phone is somewhere even slightly inconvenient, I find I don't really need to use it at all. So, I bought this decorative box to hide the phone in (I know where it is but not being able to see it cuts down temptation), and I even went so far as to buy a tiny decorative lock for an additional layer of inconvenience. Checking my phone is now a 3-step process that involves entering 3 different rooms, enough friction that I'll ask myself if I really need to look at it at all. If I do, it only takes a minute to unlock it and get the phone. I like this better than a timed lockbox and it's a lot cheaper, too!

Lovely addition to my living room
I journal a lot and wanted some to keep pens/pencils in but something different than a cup. This is beautifully made and functions as expected.Note: would have give 4.5 if possible not a full five. Could have used a least bit more sanding of the design on top. A little rough and a few splinters. But, with as detailed and for the price, couldn’t see dropping a whole point value. And, it adds character. 😊
