Great sounding PAF-like pickups! I upgraded every single piece of hardware possible on my PRS SE Custom 22 Semi-Hollow and the last piece of the puzzle where the pickups… these affordable set of Alnico 5 did not disappoint. The neck pickup has warmth and clarity while the bridge pickup gives you all the bite you need! Add split coil abilities and these pickups are super versatile.

I installed these on an SG style guitar I built. They sound very good, especially when playing slide.

Good classic sound, plenty of wire to work with.

I really don't have many other aftermarket pickups to compare to, but I removed the ceramic pickups from my Epiphone LP Goth and popped these in. Gives it a pretty cool look and the sound is a lot brighter and more well defined than the OEM pickups. For the price I'm not sure I could be any happier. I play this guitar a lot more since installing these.

This thing is so bad a## supper Hot

Picked up an LP knock-off from Firefly (has a sweet batwing inlay and actually plays pretty darn decent after a little bit of setup) for less than $200.But, as you can imagine, at that price point the pick-ups were hilariously bad (microphonic, tinny... the audio equivalent of a sunburn on the tops of your ears). So it sat in the rack looking pretty but not getting much play time at all.Was wanting to play some of the newer metal that's out there so picked up some fatty strings for C tuning. And was going to throw them on that guitar but... figured, while I've got it on the bench and stripped, why not slap in those pick-ups?I can't speak to their performance with lighter strings, but with a set of D'addario XLs these sound FIERCE. Warm but not muddy.Turned that guitar from a rack princess to a daily workhorse for stress relief mini-jams. Pretty awesome. I'm very happy about it.

I bought these to replace the original pickups in my Starshine Explorer, the originals had bad feed back on my Fender Hot Rod DeVille 4x10, I installed these and it cured the horrible feed back, they sound very nice and were easy to install, 4 wire with 2 wires pre soldered for 2 wire installation, the puckups have different colored wire harnesses for ID, bridge is Black, Neck is Grey, also comes with a wire diagram for the pickup,I will buy again.Update, Bought another pair of these in Chrome for the Red Wine Hafagita SG I bought here on Amazon, the original stock pickups were noisy and feeding back a lot, so since I bought a pair of these for the Explorer and love them, I thought they would go good in the SG, YES it sounds Awesome and no feed back, I looked at the stock ones and they weren't Wax potted, gives the SG that Vintage sound, 60's 70's tones great for AC/DC, Sabbath, and more, I will buy more.
