These worked as expected. However, the instruction sheet was for connectors #2AWG and higher, while this product is for #4-14AWG. Therefore, the instructions did not say what size hex wrench was needed (1/8") and the torque required.

These 2 port insulated connectors are great. I used 3 of them to splice #6 stranded copper romex for a 60 amp sub panel in my garage. I taped all 3 connectors and wires for extra protection and to guard against possible arcing. Price was much better than Home Depot or Lowes. Will definitely use again when splicing #10 or heavier wire.

Have not used yet .but appear to be the perfect choice to hook up electric oven.look well built and completely rubber insulated

Does the job. However, for those who pay attention to torque values, don't follow the instructions. I used the #4-14 size on #8 wire which shows 50in-lb in the instructions. It would be physically impossible to hold the connector in one hand and a torque driver in the other hand and reach 50in-lb. These lug screws are smaller than typical circuit breaker screws, and they are lubricated from the oxide inhibitor. Dry torque on 40A breaker with #8 wire is 40in-lb typically. Lubricated cuts that to 60-80%. The name brand industry standard for this style #4-14 connector with #8 wire specs 25 in-lb.

These connectors are no joke. Can't find this in big box stores. Needed to pigtail #8 with #6 copper in a subpanel to fit a reduced breaker. #6 is run for a future 50 amp plug but using it for a 20 amp circuit for the time being. My electrician made some sort of butterfly to get the #6 to fit in the breaker... bush league! These connectors were the correct solution.

I had to connect aluminum wire to 6 awg copper wire for 50 amp service. These connectors are excellent and very safe. They do take up room in the electrical box.

Works well Be sure you have the correct Alan size which is 1/8 inch

Made a solid connection between 4/3 NMD-90 and Teck cable. Expensive but easy to use, and good quality. Each one has a small sticker with Standards insignia on it.
