As an experienced woodworking professional, I've tackled numerous projects over the years, ranging from crafting custom wood ceilings to designing walls adorned with oak strips, each 1-2 inches in width, meticulously positioned vertically. Some of these walls stretched over 25 feet in length, and the outcome was consistently flawless. However, the process was time-consuming, often taking weeks to ensure each strip was precisely spaced half an inch apart, and the expenses were significant. With the recent surge in oak prices, affordability has become a challenge.For instance, the cost of wood alone for covering a 16 foot wall with individual oak strips would have amounted to $5000. This estimate doesn't even include the additional time and resources required for nailing, cutting, sealing, and sanding the strips, which would typically take about a week.Discovering Roomtec Wood Wall Panels revolutionized my approach. When I applied them to the same 16 foot wall, the total cost was reduced to $1200, and the entire installation process took me merely two hours. Remarkably, the results were on par with, if not superior to, my previous individual wood strip projects. In fact, some of my reviews even suggest that Roomtec surpasses the appearance of traditional oak.The Roomtec panels are constructed with solid wood, exhibiting exceptional craftsmanship and durability comparable to oak. Although I haven't conducted a formal oak test, the panels possess the look, feel, and scent of authentic oak. I ordered this product recently and ended up having to return it.I did not return it because the product was inferior, no, it is a great product. The reason that I returned it was simply that the color of the panels that I received did not match the samples that I ordered from the Amazon website for this product.I ordered the samples hoping to avoid it being necessary for me to have to return the items. Well, that wasn’t the case.The samples that I received appear to be a Veneer and in spite of that I had hoped that they would be representative of the panels that I would receive which are in fact 100% Walnut.The Veneer did not stain the same as the 100% Walnut and so the color and sheen were simply not the same and was a little uneven on the actual panels. The sample matched my floor and wall color perfectly, the actual panels did not and so I was forced to return them.This is not on Amazon and so I do not blame them, this is on the manufacturer or the supplier.But with that said, if you are not overly concerned with the actual color of the panels you will be quite happy with them.

The panels arrived quickly without any defects. They are well built and not very heavy. Cut to length easily, and I decided to glue and screw the panels. I am not sure screws were necessary as the construction glue seemed to hold fine. Installation was easy, however the printed directions are useless. Complete installation took just one afternoon.

I ordered 6 of these. They were shipped separately. I received the 1st 4 boxes in 2 separate shipments. Waited 3 weeks for the last 2. Tried contacting the sellers but the info Amazon provided wasn’t their company. No way to send them a message either. Super frustrating. Finally got a hold of a person from Amazon after going through endless AI chat and answering questions. The tracking keep saying enroute with tracking number but never came.After the headache of receiving and waiting for products to arrive it’s install time. It’s relatively easy with screws but a few came looking like stain drips. A few slats had the staples that held the slat to the thick felt.For a pricey panel these are not acceptable. Can’t return since it’s past the return window. The positive things is that the slats are made with solid wood. I got the oak color and it has slight grain marks. It works for what I need but would have preferred a smoother look.

Got this product because a friend installed and recommended to me. He was right this is and excellent product and the ease of installation really helps to renovate my room. Also shipping was fast and safe. Thanks.

The product was 4.5 stars and was good quality but the customer service exceeded expectations! I had some difficulties installing my product but the customer service team helped replace and fix the product!! This company is by far the one you want go for any DIY!
