Simplicity 2788 Lamb, Chick, Witch, Pumpkin and Lady Sewing Pattern for Toddlers Halloween Costume, Sizes A 1/2-4

I made the lamb for my grand daughter in the size 1. The only problem I encountered was the cuff on the sleeves needed an alternate method of attachment. Fortunately, I have lots of sewing experience to make that adjustment. Additionally, I recommend leaving the cuff open with perhaps velcro closure to make it more adjustable. I shipped it and my daughter and she had a very hard time getting those toddler hands through the cuff.

Versatile pattern .

I made the lamb for my one year old daughter, and it turned out so cute. The yardage required is a little more than what you actually need. I was able to use only 1 yd of the sherpa and had plenty left over.It definitely reads "Bunny" though, so maybe try to shorten the ears?

I needed a blueberry costume pattern, but couldn't find one. I used the pumpkin for the body and the witches hat for the hat (altered the top to look like a blueberry stem). I was very happy with the way it turned out.

I have been sewing since I was very young. The instructions were confusing and definitely did not make the experience enjoyable. Still finishing up the “duck” for my 8 month old granddaughter.

I used this to make a Rainbow Brite Tink costume for my granddaughter. This pattern has a ton of flexibility.
