Just like the original from when I was a kid
Ms Pac-man was always one of my favorite arcade games and this handheld doesn’t disappoint. Easy controls with minimal navigation, just turn on and add credits (button) and select one or two player and that’s it. Game goes. Only controls are the left directional pad, which uses MyArcade’s common pad and is perfect for this application. I’ve had mine for about 8 months and have only used it intermittently since, but overall have nearly a dozen hours going on the same batteries I first put in. I do like that it can be powered by a plugged in usb-c charging cable if you don’t want to waste the batteries. My only complaint is the volume on this specific game from MyArcade. Even on max (volume setting between 0-4), you can barely hear the game. I use (wired) headphones and on max that allows me to actually hear the gameplay. *This doesn’t allow for bluetooth connectivity fyi. Lastly, you will need to acquire a very small phillips screwdriver in order to unscrew and screw the security screws for the battery cover plates. As someone who owns a set of small various screwdrivers, I was ok but can understand the frustration having getting this and getting home only to find I need an unusually small screwdriver to operate this and not having one. Option B) USB-C i I suppose.Overall quality is on par for a $40 (inexpensive) handheld toy. Made for common use but not built for abuse. It’s tough enough and will probably last many years under normal use. Currently, I have this and the Tetris, Galaga, & Street Fighter players. Working on the collection. Definitely a good value for the money. Perfect for any game enthusiast of vintage games, young and old, or anyone who is into collecting gaming and toys in general.

Two Classic Arcade Games in One Portable Console
As a fan of the arcade classic, Galaga, and to a lesser extent, Galaxian, this portable handheld version of the game is very faithful and easy to play. It was a little confusing at first in getting the game to start as once you have which game you want to play selected, you have to then press the "credit" button on the top to progress to the one or two player selection option. But from there it's the same classic arcade games most folks know and love. The game screen is fairly large too and the shape of the device is very useful for keeping a good grip on it. Changing the batteries though may be a bit difficult as you have to undo two phillips head screws on the back panels to remove them and replace the two AA batteries in both compartments. There's a plug for a recharge cable but that, plus the batteries, are not included.Overall, a quality little video game, perfect for travel or playing while relaxing on a given day.

Just like the original black and white game but now in color! Love it!
My old black and white unit finally died and needed replacing. I love this unit with the colors. It is a favorite game I enjoy. I just turn the sound off while playing especially at night so not to disturb anyone. I do like that it can be powered by a plugged in usb-c charging cable if you don’t want to waste batteries. NOTE: The battery cover requires a VERY small phillips screwdriver in order to remove and replace the security screws for the cover plates.

Great Gift for Kids Who Love Games with a Retro Twist
I got this Pac-Man pocket player as a gift for my 8-year-old, and it’s been such a hit! I love that it’s old school — it brings back all the retro arcade vibes, and it’s fun to share something from my own childhood with my kid.The screen is clear, the design is super cute, and it’s the perfect size for little hands. My son caught on quickly and plays it all the time, especially on car rides. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the buttons can be a little delayed when moving Pac-Man. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it does make the game feel a bit less responsive at times.Overall, it’s a great gift — simple, fun, and nostalgic. Would definitely recommend for kids or anyone who loves classic arcade games!

My 5 year old twin's love this game. My son is autistic and loves it.
I have both the Mr. And Mrs. Pac-Man game both of my 5-year-olds really enjoy this game on road trips. My son is autistic and he loves this game during car rides. He took to this game immediately, I just showed him how to use the direction button and he's a professional now!! It's really heartwarming to share the nostalgic games from my childhood with my twins. I think this game gets your mind working, And it requires a bit of coordination. Stimulating in a positive way. I'm glad they set down the tablets and play something a little different.

Bad in almost every way. Do not buy.
Where to start ... First of all this is not an arcade port, silly of me to expect that I guess. No no no, this has to be the Sega Genesis version. The Genesis' biggest weakness was its sound processor. The sounds have that distinct static/distortion/crackley sound. You get these lovely sounds through a single mono speaker that's loud enough. The animation is not as smooth and the colors not as bright as the arcade. 100 percent a Genesis port. The screen, oh the screen is just terrible. Even looking at it straight on the viewing angle is messed up. Tilting your head 2 degrees and a portion of the screen goes black. I didn't even know they made screens this bad still. The d pad is too poorly designed to be reliable to do anything. Ryu's fireballs and dragon punches cannot be executed reliably. Want to press down and back to avoid being tripped? You wish. The d pad pretty much pushes all the way flat, so all the buttons up, down, left and right all press at the same time, it needs to rock on a center stud in the middle of the d pad.The XYZ ABC buttons work, would like them with half the travel that they do have.Would I recommend this product? Sadly no. I could forgive all the short comings of this product if I could play it and actually have fun. The d pad is what keeps this device from being playable. If you cannot reliably perform special moves then there is no point to playing at all.Pros: It looks cool and has a super sweet package it came in.
