Great gadget
In this fast world, we need things to make tasks easier and faster. This works great to shape up kebabs and make them look pretty.

A grillers must have
If you love to grill, this is a must have in your tool kit. Making kabobs has never been this easy (and pain free). Put you meat and veggies in. Press down, then insert your skewer. There you have it a quick,. Easily made kabob.I highly recommend!

Didn’t work
We tried using this a few times and unfortunately it didn’t work. We were very disappointed as we were hoping to make kabobs but the meat stuck to the maker instead of the skewers. Would return but I’d rather not deal with the hassle of returning

Makes Persian style kabobs of minced meat with ridges just like at the kabob shop
I used these kabab presses, without the skewers, to make koobideh with ground turkey. You can find lamb, beef, or chicken in the kebab shop, but if you’d like to make a vegetarian version or use turkey, you might need to make them yourself. Traditionally, the minced meat is combined with grated onion and spices, such as pepper, paprika, salt , turmeric, and sometimes sumac or saffron. The meat is formed onto a long, flat skewer, then pushed with the hands to form ridges. These presses can accomplish roughly the same result, with or without the skewers. These are great for counting calories, because each molded kabob will be the same size. With these presses, you can make two at a time. They are easier to remove if you line the molds with plastic wrap, or spray them with oil. If you are looking for a lean version with still a lot of flavor, you can grill them on a rack in your broiler or air fryer and add zero or just a small amount of oil. I was pleased with the presses, and the process, although, if you overfill them, you need to use your finger to remove the extra extruded meat from the sides and top. Some people can get a little grossed out by this. These are easy to clean, and the only way they could be improved is if they were stainless steel, but then they wouldn’t be as affordable. These are easy to store when not in use, and a useful tool for making consistent kabobs.
