Waterproof Bucket Rain Hat with Chin Strap Quick Dry Packable Boonie Sun Hat Safari Hat UV Protection

As someone who doesn’t look good in hats, and only wears them for practical reasons, this one is darling!! I found myself needing one for an upcoming summer trip to protect from the sun and keep my hair from a disaster if there happens to be rain/ splashes etc. I looked at similar items costing 4x as much before purchasing this one, and I’m so glad I didn’t the waste money on those others. This is great quality, easy to fold up for packing while taking little room, has removable chin straps in case it’s windy, and can easily clip onto bag for easy access. The fit is great and somewhat adjustable……Plus it’s just really darn cute!! I got the light gray (neutral)but may also order in some fun colors!

LOVE! It exceeded my expectations. I appreciate that the under-chin tie is removable, the size tightener works perfectly, and I like the hat's design, which allows it to hang slightly down toward my face is perfect for keeping my glasses from getting wet so I can see when it's windy and rainy. The integrated packing holder is a smart bonus. I'm considering purchasing another color.

Excellent quality. I wear it under a rain poncho which has an attached hood that fit's very loosely; this does a nice job of protecting against heavy rain. It's slightly small for my big head, but still comfy. I would not want to wear it when my hair's appearance is of any concern.

This is a nice hat. Great for travel because it packs down. Tim a good size-blocks the sun without being so wide it gets in the way. Even though solid it is not hot. I did not try out the waterproof aspect yet but it has been my go to all summer.

A bucket shaped rain, hat, completely foldable and a great value for the money. It is just like the one that Vera wears in the television series good quality, and very useful.

I really love this hat! I bought the Woogin hat in green, which has thicker material than the other similar one I bought below. The clip on that one feels a bit cheap, and mine came kind of scuff up so I exchanged for another one. I ordered four similar styles from different brands, and this one stands out. The other I like is Lanzom - it snaps up on the sides and the material feels nice—slightly on the thinner side, but still good. The chin strap matches the hat, which I prefer over the others. I tested it with a sprinkle of water, and it seemed waterproof since the water just shook right off. I’ll definitely keep this one and plan to buy more colors. For comparison, the other four hats I bought were packable into a snap pouch and were from the brand NPJY—I’d rate those a 3 out of 5. They do offer size options and fit my head better than the one I returned from American Trend Store.American trend was my least favorite. For reference my head is 22inch.The last one is by Zando waterproof bucket hat. Got this in a khaki another packable hat. This was similar to NPJY and American trend. I bought it was because it was only 9.99 versus the other were sold for 12.99. Overall for thickness woogin and packable and Lanzom for clipping up.

This is a great hat but mine didn't come with a chin strap. Several other people have mentioned that in their reviews. Is there a way I can get the strap?

I’m beyond excited for my new hats. I bought the black, light grey and light purple. They are exactly what I was looking for. Waterproof for the rain yet great for the sun too. The hat is the right size for my head, not too floppy or big. I love the chin strap and the fact that they fold up so compactly for traveling is an unexpected bonus. I will use these all the time for walking and hiking all year round. They are super cute too, and a great quality for the price.

Great hat compact, fits in coat pocket.

Hat seems fine. Fit is generous. Love how it neatly folds into small package. Colour is not even close to red. I bought it so my students could find me on our trip overseas. Brown/rust is not what I needed. 5 stars if the colour had been what I ordered.

Fold small and is amazing for everyday wear or hiking! But it’s too floppy for surfing (which was my intention of buying it). I need a more structured one for surfing, and probably prefer to have a clip/buckle too
