These were very sour , the kids loved them!

I bought Barnetts Mega Sour Candy Fruits mostly out of curiosity because I kept hearing how sour they were, and yeah… they definitely live up to the name. These things hit you with a serious sour punch right away, way stronger than most spur candy you find in stores. That said, once you get past the initial shock, they actually taste really good. The fruit flavors are solid and not weird or artificial tasting. I like that the sour doesn’t just disappear instantly either it sticks around long enough to make it fun, but it’s not unpleasant if you like sour candy. Fair warning though, if you’re not into intense sour, these might be too much. But if you are a sour candy fan, these are awesome and totally worth it. I’ll definitely buy them again and maayyyybe just not eat too many at once lol

I wasn’t too pleased with these there wasn’t anything really wrong with it but they definitely weren’t as sour as I was expecting. You get a good quantity for the price and they do taste. OK not super chemically like most sour candies.

If you're looking for a sour treat to quell anxiety temporarily, this is it! I've tried War Heads and Final Boss Level 3 for reference, and I found that the War Heads weren't really sour and quickly turned sweet. Final Boss Level 3 is even less sour than War Heads but as a snack they're actually quite tasty and addicting. These however made my mouth pucker and delivered a strong sour punch. The shock didn't last very long, maybe 30 seconds to a minute? But it was definitely strong and sufficient for its purpose. There was a weird chemical flavor along with the initial sourness but when the sour went away so did that flavor. The sourness was also strong enough to kind of mask the chemical flavor a little bit. Overall, the best sour distraction I've tried so far!

Not worth it, not even close. Like 8 bucks for 10 pieces. Of course I knew this up front but wanted to try them. Only sour for a little bit and then they're just a jawbreaker. One and done.

These are so good!!! Got it for the challenge and ended up eating most of them. They are VERY SOUR. Extremely sour. Ig you like sour you will love these. They are hard candy, not good for small kids. Try them!

This candy is so dang sour!!!!!! They weren't lying when they said MEGA SOUR. I'm usually good with sour stuff, but this made me gag, LOL. Now once the sour wore off, it became sweet. The flavors are great! My daughter loves these for sour challenges. It's a good size bag and great quality candy. Worth the money for this candy. My husband brought the rest to work with him to see how his coworkers would react, and they made some funny faces. Will buy again when we run out and want to do more "sour challenges."

Ugh! Disgustingly sour! 😩. This by far is worse than the "warheads". Will FORCE contorted expressions on face. DON'T HAVE ANOTHER ONE, and DON'T EAT A BOWL OF THEM AS A "CHALLENGE". Just make sure your cameras working well when you film it. One eaten is a one off. The sourness will wear off if you are worthy ⚔️🏆. Malic acid at it's best 👍

This candy is by far one of the most sour I have ever experienced. Got it because my nephew wanted to try it and we were pucker faced for a while.

You know how when you buy a hot chilli sauce or some sour sweets which brag about how hot/sour they are, but in actual fact they're crap? Well, Barnetts weren't having any of that, these are singlehandedly the sourest sweets that have ever passed my lips, they have a warning on the back so you know they're good! Toxic waste? Pitiful. Warheads? Ha! My mother can finish those off. But in saying that, they also taste great, the first 15 seconds you'll be pulling all kinds of faces while you get through the sour layer, but the sweet underneath is also really good, the apple taste like apple, the cherries are nice, the cola is good too, the lemon... well, here's a tip, save this one till last, god damn. Only drawback? Well, you're paying £4.50 for a bag of 10 sweets. It's not great. But, its nice that a product actually does what it says on the packet, so maybe it's worth paying that premium. If you're the kind of mucker who enjoys their sweets unapologetically, mentally sour, you can't get any stronger than these. Give them a go!
