High Quality Adapter for 5.3 LS Oil Sender to Oil Pressure Test Gauge
Worked great to go from my 5.3 LM7 block to Harbor Freight oil pressure test gauge. I initially was just reading the resistance of the sender from the plug next to the harness since you can calculate the oil pressure by multiplying Ohms by like 0.91 to get psi (range is something like 1-88 Ohms = 0-80 Psi). But this adapter worked great to hook up the test gauge to actually verify.

Impressed with this fitting stainless steel, sealed well. Good price compared to others. I worked as a machinist on stainless for over 25 yrs and this looks to be quality machining. With stainless be sure to use a pipe compound on the threads not tape. Stainless is very prone to galling the treads.

Perfect fit for front lower left oil sensor on Chevy 5.3L
Needed to check if my oil sending unit was malfunctioning. Pulled the front plug and used this adapter to plug in my oil pressure gauge. Worked perfectly.

Copper crush washer leaked no matter how tight I got it. Replaced that then it was fine.
