Effective Insect Control and Easy to Use
I’ve had a great experience with Atticus Talak 7.9%. It’s easy to mix and apply—just 1 oz of concentrate per 1 gallon of water. A little goes a long way, making it very cost-effective. After spraying around my home, I noticed a significant reduction in insects, and one application provides protection for about 3 months. It’s a great option for treating both indoor and outdoor areas. If you regularly pay for pest control services, this product can save you a lot of money over time while delivering excellent results. Overall, it’s an effective, high-quality product that I would definitely recommend.

Effective Carpenter Ant Control Indoors and Outdoors with Long-Lasting Results
I purchased the Atticus Talak 7.9% Indoor/Outdoor Insect Control Concentrate specifically to address a persistent carpenter ant problem around my property. After researching various options and using this product for several weeks, I'm very pleased with the results. The concentrate mixes easily and applies well using a standard pump sprayer. I treated both the exterior foundation and several indoor entry points where carpenter ants were frequently appearing. Within a short period, ant activity noticeably decreased, and after a few treatments, the infestation was effectively under control. One of the reasons I selected this product was its active ingredient, bifenthrin, which has a strong reputation for controlling a wide variety of crawling insects while providing residual protection. The treatment continues working long after application, reducing the need for constant reapplication. I also appreciated being able to use a single product for both indoor and outdoor treatment areas, simplifying my pest-control routine. The 32-ounce bottle yields a substantial amount of finished solution, making it a good value for homeowners dealing with larger properties or recurring pest issues. Before purchasing, I spent time researching the active ingredient and was reassured to learn that bifenthrin has relatively low toxicity to mammals when used according to the manufacturer's directions. As with any pesticide, proper handling and label compliance are essential, especially around children and pets, but it provided additional confidence when selecting a product for residential use. Pros: +Highly effective against carpenter ants +Suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications +Long-lasting residual control +Easy mixing and application +Concentrated formula provides excellent value +Trusted active ingredient with a long history of use Cons: -Requires careful measuring and mixing -As with any pesticide, safety precautions and label instructions should be followed closely The Atticus Talak 7.9% Insect Control Concentrate has been one of the most effective carpenter ant treatments I've used. It delivers reliable results, works both indoors and outdoors, and provides lasting protection that helps prevent reinfestation. If you're dealing with carpenter ants or other common household pests, this product is well worth considering. Bifenthrin is significantly less toxic to mammals than to many insects when used according to the label, but it is still a pesticide and should be handled carefully around people and pets.

Proper way to use this chemical Pros and cons
To everybody saying this is bad for mosquito control or don’t work. It will work but the timing that you’re using is critical, especially for mosquitoes. You gotta catch them early in the the spring at the larva stage and use an insect growth regulator with itI. I’ve been doing pest control for 17 years. Bifenthin which is the active ingredient in Talak works great on general pest control like spiders ants, no bugs, cell bugs, centipedes, millipedes, and other general pest control. It does work for carpenter ants, but up to a certain point carpenter ants you would need a termite side like termidor or phantom due to its non-repellent insect walks through it don’t know what’s there because they can’t detect it. Bring it back to this kills the colony, especially for hoarding type and colony style insect like carpenter ants, glass, hornets, and other wood destroying organisms. All talak is going to do is repel them into a different part of the area where you couldn’t treat. It will kill them, but unless you get to the nest and kill the queen and the colony you’re just masking the problem. As far as mosquito control goes, it works great, but you wanna mix it with a separate chemical called an insect growth radiator you mix it accordingly with the talc, and it stops the lifecycle of the mosquito by stopping the reproductive organs from producing eggs. The best way for mosquito control is to treat early in the season very early in the spring. You want to get a insect growth regulator and treat the wet areas with a environmentally friendly chemical called mosquito dunks. You read the directions they look like little wafers or a small doughnut you throw them in the water they dissolve and it doesn’t put a fine layer of chemical over the surface of the water because mosquitoes breathe through tubes almost like how we would breathe with snorkel and it stops that cycle because they can’t breathe it and that’s best for mosquito control. talak is a great general purpose pesticide and I highly recommend it but like I said earlier for wood, destroying organisms and colony style insects, I would go with a non-repellent like the chemicals I stated.

Love this Stuff!
Just moved into a new build so was constantly dealing with spiders, crickets, and some micro size crawlers all over the house. Pest control business came around to the new subdivision trying to sell themselves but with this economy, it’s a lot of DYI going around. Found this product and purchased a garden sprayer (pressure bottle). This stuff works wonders. Sprayed the entire outside of my home one evening and the next morning, I had several insects laying around dead. Just read the instructions for measuring purposes and go to work. Love this stuff. Will definitely be buying more and treating my home.

Huge Ant Colony Gone
I’ve been struggling with an ant problem for the better part of 2 years. Tried all kinds of ant traps. Tried the pellets. Nothing was working. They have a massive colony underneath my concrete patio. Finally my neighbor told me water based bifenthrin is what I need. He uses the oil based because he has no pets or kids. I have both, so I found this water based product with bifenthrin in it. Bought it, bought a 1 gallon pump tank. Waited until the kids were in bed and my dog had gone out for the last time and then went to work. I sprayed the entire perimeter of my patio and the settle crack in the middle which they were using as a highway. Sprayed the base of my house around the siding and tried to get underneath some of the siding. Then sprayed all the baseboards on the first floor. It all dried over night not leaving a single mark and odorless as if it never happened. I noticed an immediate difference in the morning. I used to come downstairs to a bunch of ants by my back sliding door. There were hardly any the next morning. Within 24 hours i stopped seeing ants all together and haven’t seen one ant since and it’s been weeks now. This is the best and most effective product. 10/10 would recommend and will continue to use it yearly.
