Perfect for Sweet Tea and Cold Brew Lovers!

The Homecraft Electric Iced Tea Maker is a game-changer for my kitchen! It’s compact, sleek, and incredibly easy to use. Whether I’m brewing sweet tea for a summer day or prepping cold brew coffee, this machine delivers perfect results every time. The double-insulated pitcher is a fantastic feature—it keeps drinks cold for hours without condensation. The brewing process is quick and simple, and I love that I can customize the strength to suit my taste. Cleanup is a breeze, too, with minimal parts to wash. This little machine is a must-have for anyone who loves iced beverages. It’s efficient, reliable, and looks great on the countertop. Highly recommend!

Makes great tea - simple to use and clean

This little brewer makes great iced tea - it's supposed to make coffee too, but I don't drink it so I can't say. It's very simple, pour the water into the brewer (there's a line on the pitcher so you use the correct amount), put the tea bags in the seeper, and either fill the pitcher to the top line with ice, push the button, and it'll go. The directions call for up to nine bags - unless you like tea sludge, try less than that to start (I use three regular bags and it makes a dark tasty brew). Another idea that is mentioned in the directions is to fill the pitcher to the bottom line with cold water instead of ice - works great. The tea is still warm so this is a good option if you're not going to serve it for a while and can put it in the fridge to cool. An excellent little unit that works great and is simple to use

Perfectly adequate - it does the job

I make a LOT of iced tea at home. I don't do carbonation, caffeine, refined sugar, nor artificial sweeteners, so I pretty much have to make all my beverages myself if I want anything other than water. I grow my own plants for tea so I need something that works with both fresh and dried leaves and flowers.I've used both the Oster and the Mr. Tea makers and they eventually failed because they were too complicated. Hidden water reserves you can't reach into to descale and springs with pressure-sensitive, filtered reservoirs which get clogged with tea residue and eventually fail to dispense the tea properly. This machine has none of that. You just fill up the water container, put the plastic tea basket on the plastic pitcher, pop on the lid and slide it under the water container's output nozzle. Super easy to clean and get all the gunk out. I don't love the plastic pitcher instead of glass, but since I put the tea into glass containers for storage in the fridge the plastic pitcher isn't a real problem. I use a VERY fine strainer in a large metal funnel, so no leaves, etc. get into the tea.I miss the ability to pull out the pitcher to empty as it fills, but at least there's no springs/whatever to go wrong and not function properly. Both the Oster and the Mr. Tea lost the "auto stop when pitcher is pulled out" function months before the machines gave up the ghost entirely. Having to wait for the auto shut off when the pitcher is full is a small price for being able to make a full gallon of tea in just two runs of the machine. I don't use any ice, so it's easy to top off the water reservoir as It empties with a total two quarts of water for each run.I empty the two runs into a gallon jug, mix in whatever else I want in the brew (lemon or other fruit juice, etc.) mix it up and put it into the pitchers in the fridge. It can be served over ice or just stored in the fridge until cold, which is the way I like it.Bottom line: It does the job, it's not ugly on the counter, and it was a very good price.

One Month and Done (but I like the pitcher)

I gave 5 stars for this this tea/coffee maker in the areas of easy to clean, easy to use and Flavor. Unfortunately it received an overall rating of one star because it no longer functions after one month of use. The first time I used it, the tea maker worked perfectly. The second time it left some water in the reservoir. The third time more water was left behind...... After a month of use, it leaves more water than it runs into the brewing bucket. I press start again to take some remaining water through. Then it stops. Then I press start again. It runs a little bit more and then it stops before finishing. Yesterday I heated the water in a kettle and ran it through manually. A design criticism is that it would be a lot better if there was a manual lever on the brewing bucket that would allow the user to release the brewed tea based on strength preferences. I would have returned this unit but I no longer have the box. My overall assessment is that it was overpriced for a decent plastic pitcher.

Its size on the counter is perfect.

This has been great. I like that the picture sits on the counter instead of on itself like a coffee pot. So far it’s working great.

Works just like my old Mr. Coffee Ice tea maker.

My old Mr. Coffee ice tea machine gave up after years of wonderful service. They aren't available any longer so I ordered this ice tea machine. It works perfectly!
