Alexa Echo
Use every day. Responsive. Easy to use. Use for music. Alarm clock, reminders, and calendars. Can ask Alexa anything. Connects to the ring. Loud. Great size. Small enough. WiFi connects. Good picture.

Excellent Feature Set!
This is one of the most undervalued products I have ever owned. I use my Echo Show 5 primarily as a smart alarm clock. Being able to set my alarm by talking to it is so convenient, I also use it to control the bedroom lights and play m e some nice music to sleep to. One day when I was sick and didn't want to get out of bed to retrieve a tablet, I was able to stream my Amazon Video Content on this device. Sure the screen is small, but laying on the bed watching it didn't strain my eyes at all. The sound was awesome, Amazon having put better speakers in this new version (from my gen 1 which is now in the workshop). The adaptive lighting and screen color based on the ambient light in the room is perfect. The Alexa Skills allow me to play games with Alexa, and she keeps me supplied with dad jokes for work. You can customize the types of push alerts the Echo Show 5 gives you, which allows to you greatly reduce the number of ads you see. All in all, the value for the money is amazing, and you will continually find new uses for this excellent little item!

Very definite and noticeable improvements over previous models.
Since the Echo Spot in my bathroom was constantly losing the internet connection and had to be restarted, I decided to replace it with the Show 5 on my desk and buy this new version of the Show 5 for my desk.Admittedly, I don't use all of the available options since I don't need them. When I watch Prime Video it is on my TV, but you can watch movies on this device if you want to. You can connect with video calling if the people you want to connect to have the Alexa app or an Echo device with a screen. I, personally, don't know anyone that has these things that I would want to connect to. You can control compatible smart devices if you have them. I do use smart devices, but they are not Alexa enabled and are controlled by other apps.The most dramatic difference for me is the color contrast and vivid colors of the screen - they are incredible. This version stays connected to the internet more consistently than the previous version and verbal response is much better. Although I have speakers for the older Show 5 I put in my bathroom, this newer version really doesn't need them unless you want booming sound. The base and quality of the sound is a huge improvement.Even though I don't use all of the available options for this Show 5, I do love the screen and sound quality, but the other options are available if you want to use them.I hope this review was helpful for you. I will update this review if my opinion changes.

Best video smart assistant
This works particularly with all my cameras and ring door bell. One of the best also better then google but has some display disadvantages but works pretty well and love the echo style

I recently upgraded to the Amazon Echo Show 5, and it has been a game-changer! The compact size makes it perfect for my desk, while the screen is crisp and clear, great for checking the weather, watching videos, or listening to music.Alexa responds quickly and accurately, and I love the convenience she/it provides. So far so good.
I updated from the 2nd gen and 3rd gen Echo dots to pick up this. I am glad I did because now I can ask her to show me any of my blank cameras and it puts them on the screen or I could shuffle through them and make sure the property is safe. I did go out and buy a stand for this and it works pretty well but if you lean it Forward too much or backwards too much it does get a little unstable. That is not the fault of the unit that is strictly on the stand. I will upgrade to a larger screen unit more than likely on this year's Christmas sale pricing for Black Friday the screen size is small but the picture quality is good. I like that you can shut off the camera and the speaker to have a little bit more privacy. It does seem to have a little bit less responsiveness than the echo Dot, however she still does understand you and she does give you the information that you've requested. All in all I think it was a good upgrade and with your trade in at the moment you get 20% off of the item when you trade an item in. I believe you only get that one time so look around and make sure you're buying the right size and model before you click that button.
