Ancho chili was called out in the chili recipe I found. This made a big difference. Great product.

Mild and tasty
This is the best option for someone who does not like or cannot tolerate hot red pepper, but likes the taste and flavor. This spice is awesome and goes well with meat and fish. The container design was confusing to me at first but then I figured out how to control the spice flow - you can actually do it with a very high precision. You need to turn the lid and watch for the opening on the side.

Ancho a basic necessity for the spice drawer
We use ancho in all kinds of things. Mix it with other spices for taco seasoning or on popcorn chicken. Excellent all around flavor that mingles well with others without overpowering.

The best Ancho chili powder I have cooked with. The aroma is fantastic and it has a deep color.

Fresh and Delicious!
I initially bought it to recreate a Hello Fresh "Ancho BBQ Sandwiches". I've since used it on fish tacos, a citrus salmon, and potato soup. It tastes delicious, I don't see this can lasting long, and the only way to get it fresher is to grow your own poblanos. The storage tin is well labeled, has a magnetic base, and the top turns for slow or fast pour.
