We love these. About 4 of us get together to exercise and I needed exercises all of us at 55 and up can do. This fits the bill. Line dancing is fun and easy to follow along

I love love love this video set. I have been doing these dances for two weeks now and enjoy the ease of learning. The instructor gives great direction and there are two different ways in the videos to enjoy the dances. One is a step by step, which he and his partners lead you thru the step several times breaking down each section of movements to ensure that you learn them properly. Then he puts them all together for a short “ four wall” demonstration and practice. Or you can do all the dances to music with full songs. I am super happy I purchased this one and not the others I was looking at because I feel like I can actually go and do these dances on the dance floor within the first few tries of learning them.

Im sure this was a great dvd but once I received it- I returned it. I did not like the song choices. I'm old school. I just want to teach my son line dancing to basic country songs - not new age stuff.

But would be more fun to do them to actual songs so when you hear the song at the bar or dance club you can just start doing the dance. I haven't made it terrible far with this DVD....I think it's mostly because the music is basic and it doesn't keep my attention. The instructor is very good and the moves are easy to learn. I can't do a lot of the jumping and fast moves that great on carpet but that's not the DVD's fault. This DVD will teach you some basic line dance moves.

Yes, seniors can do boot scooting.The first item on the dvd was make sure and check with your physician before trying these dance steps. The reason I gave this 5* is because I can no longer really dance like I used to. Each dance step is explained several times with the video showing how to do it. Western dance is several different steps for line dancing. After two days I am very good at one part. So when I visit my old friends I can go and dance. There is lots of twirling and spinning, but you need not do that part. You can play one part several times over to learn that specific part and then it continues to include another step. After watching this, if I miss, I can just tap my boots and clap and go yee-haw.

This line dance DVD is great. If you want to learn a good variety of dances I think this is a good way to go. I definitely feel like I got my moneys worth. The line dance instruction was good. For me personally I probably would have had them go a little slower, but it was a great pace for my wife. I do understand that they accommodated for this with the whole thing of making each section of steps a chapter in the dvd so i could skip back and do those steps over again, and I actually used it, but my wife was usually ready to move on before I was, so I just thought I would mention it... The thing I liked the most is that you get to practice the dances. Doing all of them back to back at the end of the DVD is really fun.

First set arrived scratched and would not play so I sent it back; requested a replacement, thinking it was just the scratches.Second set arrived in perfect condition. It played part of the way through, but kept glitching and freezing up so badly there was no way you could dance to it. It finally froze, and simply wouldn't play at all.I was willing to give one star because both times the dvd arrived quickly and the scratched dvd was replaced.

I wanted to teach myself line dancing. These DVDs go through each step and then actual line dancing at the end. It’s very detailed and you actually learn how to line dance. It’s pretty cool.
