I have several Chapin products that we use around the farm. This like the others, does not disappoint! It is extremely well made and should las quite a while. The sprayer holds pressure and give a consistent spray pattern. It is functional and feels better made than most of the others that you find at the big box stores. I have a large garden and this size works well for my purposes.

So many years of crappy home Depot and Lowe's sprayers and lasting a short amount of time I feel stupid for not having gotten one of these sooner it's worth the extra money to get good quality don't cheap out I have ordered a second one so that I have one for insecticides and one for pesticides I love the vent on them the feel of the trigger parts availability though I don't ever see needing parts the internal filter I will be buying two more for each of my houses don't cheap out spend a little more save a lot of frustration

PROS: All the components seem to be of high quality; spray wand and hose are heavy duty; tank is made of thick plastic and size of opening makes it easy to fill; the pump screws on over the tank body so there are no concerns about dirt and debris falling into tank when removing the pump to refill the tank; the pump is high capacity and builds pressure quickly*; the tank has pressure relief valve and stands up fairly well compared to other taller/narrower tanks. *if you can get the tank to hold pressure, see below. CONS: The seal between the pump and tank can be frustratingly leaky, preventing the buildup of enough pressure to get more than a few low-pressure sprays before needing to pump it up again. As many others have mentioned, there is a glaring flaw where the pump attaches to the tank. The top of the tank has an uneven sealing edge, which seems to be a problem with the blow molding process because lip on both of my tanks looked the same. There is a large o-ring in the screw-on pump that is supposed to conform to the top lip of the threaded tank. It does seal (sort of) at first, but as you pump up the tank, the o-ring seems to shift out of place and begins to leak air at fairly low pressures, usually resulting in very poor spray performance. My "fix" is to screw the pump on to the tank as hard as I possibly can, after which you can build up a nice amount of pressure and it performs great. But beware when it's time to refill, because you'll likely need a strap wrench to separate the pump from the tank. Lubing the o-ring and threads with silicone grease doesn't help - and once the o-ring seal shifts it can become harder to separate the pump from the tank. So while this sprayer is "usable", I can't really recommend it unless you're willing to constantly deal with the sealing problem. It's a shame because everything else about this sprayer is top notch. Update: (July 2025) After using my sprayers for about a year now, the ability to build up pressure in the tank has become hit and miss, regardless of how tightly the top is screwed on. The pressure relief valve is redundant because you'll never be able to build up enough pressure to it pop open. As you pump up the tank you'll start hearing air escaping from around the top of the tank, a condition that is exacerbated if you lift the tank using the pump handle (I don't find the included carrying strap very functional). Looking at things more closely, it appears that diameter of the o-ring is a bit smaller than the tank opening, making me think the o-ring may be slipping inside the top lip of the tank and preventing a good seal. I'm dropping my rating from 3 stars down to 1 star because I can no longer reliably get the tank to seal nor build pressure, making it essentially useless. I really wanted to like this sprayer for all its other attributes, and if you can get it to seal, it works fantastic; but the continually leaking seal prevents it from fulfilling its primary purpose. I now have to advise that this sprayer is a DO NOT BUY.

Well made. Easy to use. Works well. Appreciate the different nozzles that come with it. Also like that it's American-made. The strap is too short and there is only one mounting point, so it doesn't work very well for carrying the sprayer, especially when it's full, but this isn't sold as a backpack sprayer, so it's not a big deal to me personally. The strap is useful for hanging this in the garage, so I do leave it on. Overall, would recommend.

Super easy to set up and use! No leaks and does the job!

Perfect sprayer for what I needed done around the house. Nice lightweight 2 gallon tank, easy to carry when filled, I can see the amount of liquid sloshing in the tank. Not see thru but translucent. Filling was simple , I used my sprayer for weed killers. The most important thing about any sprayer, this sprayer held the pressure and did not leak. Very well built, sturdy , does its job, great price , delivered quickly and easily by Amazon. Another plus, it's made in America. Recommended item

EZ to assemble and after filling it the first time was able to start spraying quickly. We really like the comfortable spray handle with the ability to lock it on to spray constantly or to lock it off. We also use both the brass tip and the alternate fan spray tip for different applications. It also seems to be very efficient with the pump creating enough pressure for a lot of spraying. The pressure release is an also a very nice feature that we did not find on other sprayers. This is a very well built solid sprayer we now use for both weed and ant control.

This one is of better material and is more sturdy than the previous ones I have bought.
