Sony STR-AN1000 7.2 Channel 8K AV Receiver with Dolby Atmos, DTS:X with Complete 8 Speaker System Bundle (7 Items)

Lot of features. Bluetooth connects fasts. 8k. Wifi. Google Home. I didn't use the banana plugs I just ran the straight wire. I used the two book shelf and atmos as rear surround, and the others as front speakers. Sounds great. I tested it first with Ozzy's No More Tears, the drums I could feel in my sternum. Zakk Wylde's solo was definitely a cooler experience than with headphones that im used to. I don't know much about the terminology with sound systems or speaker output but this is great. I have an open living room so I can hear the music throughout the house and it sounds good no matter where I'm at. I'll mount the TV later and rearrange speakers but just wanted to thank them with a review so thanks.

I ordered this over a month ago! All but the bookshelf speakers showed up. For a surround sound system…the surround part is pretty important! Not Amazon nor Focus Camera told me the bookshelf speakers showed up “damaged “. I had to reach out to them to ask why I am missing part of my order. Hey focus camera, do you know what GOOD customer service is? Alert your customer when there is a delay! 2nd instead of making your PAYING customer wait, take the book shelf speakers from an UNORDERED set… novel thought? Here I am well over a month since my system was delivered without my speakers. Do yourself a solid and go to Best Buy and purchase this set there. I wish I would’ve.

Excellent product, for the price this kit is very good, construction. The only bad experience did not fuel the product, it was the shipment, by several days different pieces arrived. They did not send it together, because I did not

The only thing I keep running in to is a bit of overheating at higher volumes and the AVR shuts off. It is good to have that, but with the speaker package it comes with, I do wish there was another 10 to 20 watts of power available, and better heat dissipation.So the 4 stars is as a result of that. Otherwise it would be 5.To be clear, the AVR unit sits unobstructed, so there is airflow. With a small fan pointed at one of the sides, it avoids shutting down.

I bought this when it went on sale instead of the higher end Klipsch setup I was considering. I am not disappointed. The setup of the receiver is not as straight forward as I wanted it to be. I configured it as a 5.1.2 instead of 7.1. It took a while to figure out how to get the top firing speakers to work in that config.

Got a great price on Amazon Prime Day. Amazing looking and great seller that gave better support on Amazon than email though. But took a while to setup. Wish this iem came with a $50 setup option.

I purchased this product. It did not worked ever. It had some intermittent display issue. It would start well but after sometime, it would stop displaying. Sent this to the repair center, they could not reproduce the issue. I tried again after repair, it had same problem. Contacted their support again after several transfer and waiting on hold for hours they said that they can’t do anything and it could be “Environmental Issue” not sure what that means. They can’t refund/ replace. I will have to buy another equipment.
