I am beyond happy with my purchase of the DoHonest Baby Car Camera. If you are debating between a traditional back-seat mirror and this camera system, go with the camera—it is a total game changer for peace of mind while driving. The Picture Quality: The HD 1080P resolution is incredibly sharp. Even during night drives, the night vision is clear enough to see if my baby’s eyes are open or closed without needing to turn on any interior lights. Setup & Ease of Use: It was very easy to install and fits securely. The monitor sits perfectly on my dash, allowing me to keep my eyes on the road while still being able to catch a quick glimpse of my little one in the back. I'm very happy with this purchase. I wasn't sure if I wanted a camera or to save a few bucks and just get an old school mirror. Now that I've been using this camera now for about a week or so, I'm definitely happy a spent the little extra for this camera. It's much easier and safer just looking at the camera in front of me rather than turning around to see a mirror or trying to look in the rear view mirror to see the baby in his mirror. The resolution is great, I can see my baby clearly in day or night. I think I remember seeing some other reviews were they say the video is always black and white. There has been a couple times during the day that it has switched to night mode (black and white), but only when I've gone thru a patch of dark shade. For the most part tho, it stays in color, and I'm fine with it going to night mode occasionally because I can see my baby in night mode very clearly, whereas if it stayed in color I might not see as good since the picture would be a little darker. Setup was super easy, plenty of cord length in order to reach were you need them, and plenty of length to hide the wires however you want under floor mats or behind panels. The components are very sturdy when mounted, so I haven't noticed any camera bouncing motion or it being unsteady. Also, there is a menu to fine tune picture quality, brightness, tint, saturation, etc., although it isn't really necessary since the picture quality is perfectly fine straight out of the box. Once again, I'm very happy I choose to spend just a few extra dollars to go with the camera instead of a baby mirror!

We absolutely love our DoHonest car baby camera! It’s easy to install and provides a clear picture of the baby. The infrared feature helps at night as well. I highly recommend purchasing this camera for your vehicle. We got a second one for my husband’s vehicle after seeing how great our first one was. I love being able to see my child in the moment in my dash board without having to turn around so often. This is especially helpful while his car seat is rear facing. We've had this camera for about a month now and it's worked great for us. I especially appreciate that I can see the baby in the dark. The only small drawback is that when you're putting baby in the rear-facing carseat, you might bump it where it is set up against the headrest - not a big deal, you just need to readjust before departure. I love that you can turn the monitor OFF for when the baby isn't in the car. I was worried that all the cords would be annoying, but if you thread them beneath your floor mats they aren't noticeable at all. I would buy it again.

I purchased this camera because my newborn has to sit in the seat directly behind the driver seat so my big kid can get in and out during car line. I couldn't find a mirror that allowed me to view my newborn and this is when I found this product. It was simple to put together, there are a lot of cords but it's nice not having the program anything. The picture quality is fantastic, it offers clear and crisp images an I felt was a good value! I reached out to customer service to clarify a question about the camera and they responded promptly and were very helpful!

This is a great camera to keep an eye on baby in the back seat, way better than the traditional wide mirror in front of baby! I dislike the wires running through the car but it’s worth it to me. my husband did a good job of hiding the wires under the floor mats so it works. other than having to conceal the wires, the setup was rather easy and the camera stays in place unless it’s physically touched by something! only issue is often the picture is like blue tone, and other times it’s back to normal with clear colors. it just randomly happens without intervention. i wish it always had that clear picture but i can still see my baby with the color shift. would recommend this product regardless!

This camera has been a game changer for us. It gives me peace of mind while driving. I appreciate the camera far more than a mirror. I expected to have to pay a lot of money for a car monitor, but this one was very affordable and has great camera quality, shows real time, and is the perfect size. I appreciate that there is little to no delay in the motion detection as well.
