Wright's Copper and Brass Cream Cleaner - 4 Lbs - Gently Cleans and Removes Tarnish Without Scratching

Q: What should i use with this product to clean up a copper sink? a hand brush? sponge? a hand tool? should i let it soak on before scrubbing?

We use a damp wash cloth. Apply to the entire sink then remove with a clean cloth. Be sure to rinse with water thoroughly or it will dry to and leave behind a white film. No need to scrub hard, let the acid do it's job. Wear rubber cloves.

Q: Weiman used to sell the yellow sponges that come in the 8-oz tubs separately, but I can no longer find them. Where can I get the sponges?

I have a lot of copper cook ware as we have a French restaurant. I’ve use Wright’s products for years. One of the the not oft mentioned qualities is that it so easily rinses off with warm water followed by a quick buffing with w cotton terry cloth towel. BUT, the absolute best method ever devised for application of the polishing paste is a silicone sponge. When you’re done, just rinse (if you feel you need to), shake off the excess & pop it it the the container with the paste. You’ll always know where it is and you won’t be wasting time “finding something that’ll work” each time you have a polishing party. Just retired a silicone sponge after about three years of pretty heavy use.

Q: Can I use it on outside of copper fire pit bowl with high heat?

I use it on my copper pots (they don't have a sealed coating) that I cook with every day over open gas heat, so as long as you wash the polish off properly after cleaning it according to the directions, I don't see why not. However, after cleaning a pot, the first time I use it, it discolors the surface from the heat--but it cleans up over and over again with Wright's.

Q: Is this product safe to use on a bronze gravestone marker?

The information on the product says it works on Copper, bronze, and brass. I have only used it on my copper sink, and it is amazing, it makes a dingy looking copper sink look like a shiny new penny when your done using it. I absolutely love this cleaner!!
