A significant improvement over the stock headlight
Thought I would give this a whirl after a particularly unpleasant winter night ride on my 2016 Fat Boy - standard headlamp really struggled to illuminate anything. Worth a go at ÂŁ50. After several weeks of riding around, it feels like a revelation. Illumination of the road is fantastic, several times better than the original headlight on the same adjustment and improved again when I got round to adjusting properly. Might be my imagination but, by the reaction of drivers I am approaching, I seem to be more visible - even during the day. Just make sure you adjust it correctly as the potential to dazzle other road users is heightened. No idea how long it will last, but I feel it was a very good purchase and aesthetics look OK with it on the bike.No freebies or payment received for this review.

the unit works fine but there is some misleading information in the advertisement
Fitted this to my FLHTCUSE3 Harley touring, the unit works fine but there is some misleading information in the advertisement, it states that for my model you need to purchase a Harley Davidson wiring harness, this is incorrect it will work fine without you only need the harness if you want to retain the automatic garage door opener. I feel this was for our American counterparts who would use this sort of thing, me I'll stick to the manual method, my hands. It matches my HD Day Maker LED running Lights so I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend it to other Harley riders.

Appears to be made well and very easy to install on my HD Fat Boy
Appears to be made well and very easy to install on my HD Fat Boy, currently working very well with no issues, so much cheaper than genuine Harley Product, time will tell to how long it lasts.

Recommended Upgrade!
Looks great on my 1996 Road King with the chrome nacelle and matching LED aux lights, and really throws the light down the road. I had to get a mounting bracket to fit this easily, but if you've got the tools and the time, I suspect you could get a better fit by cutting away the OEM headlight inner shell to get this to fit.I did notice that it doesn't provide as much peripheral 'glow' as a traditional bulb light, which means that I found myself turning the auxiliary lamps on to illuminate road signs at night when they are located a little way off the road when riding at night.Nevertheless I definitely recommend this upgrade for older bikes, and I would buy it again if I replace my bike!

Great light but comes with warning!
Just fitted! The light itself is really good, white and bright. But there's a problem! The Sunpie lights set off the alarm on my Harley Ultra Classic and sometimes I can't start the bike. I have now found out that the CANbus system is not a match. Not good and trying to resolve the problem :-(

Went back to Stock Headlight
â18 Hd Street Glide. The light was easy enough to install. The plugs they provide are suspect. However I installed the light without issue and the light initially looked great in my garage looked like it was going to be really bright. Unfortunately the first time riding at night the width of the beam was great but the distance was horrible. I was on one of the busiest highways in North America and couldnât see much further in front of me than my front wheel, Yes my light is adjusted properly the beam just doesnât cut the darkness in front of me. I actually looked to ride in front of an 18 wheeler to help light up the road. I decided to double check all my connections and realized that the high beam doesnât work and neither does the passing light. They did before. I plugged in my stock light and everything works as it should high/low/passing. For safety Iâm going back to the stock Harley headlight until I can find and save up for a reliable LED headlight.Itâs a shame because I had the sunpie 5â on my 07 Dyna and had no issues and better distance vision which is why I didnât give it a lower rating. This one has been on the bike for 2 weeks. Now itâs going to the swap meet.

Triumph America - 7 Zoll LED-Scheinwerfereinsatz

Does not fit with the freight train nacelle without the ring
i ordered this headlight on the 27.10.2018 and it was delivered on the 12.11.2018, the light could not be fitted inside the nacelle because of the heatsink as it is too big for the stock nacelle bucket, now i tried everything but it just would not fit, i guess il need the trim ring which sunpie sells seperately as well which is nearly half the price of the headlight, i would like to point out that the headlight costed me 9500 indian rupees and the trim ring 4663 indian rupees, which is almost half the price of the headlight, i have placed my order for the trim ring today itself i.e on the 12.11.2018 and now the expected date of delivery is shown as the 01.12.2018, a few points for consideration, the light itself seems to be decently built but the build quality of the light is not at par with the genuine hd daymaker, i am not complaining as the price is almost one third of what hd india is charging, secondly i checked the light by plugging it in, first impression is that the light is bright enough with a decent lux and cutoff, however final word will be when il install and run it on the bike itself, for reference my bike is flstf softail fatboy 2015, im a bit skeptical as the reviews on the sunpie trim ring quite vary a bit, keeping my fingers crossed, all in all i wont buy this again because i that the company should be specific as to what all is needed and what is not when you buy their products, secondly there are no instructions in the package, thirdly it seems like a cheap trick to con people into first buying the light and then forcing them into buying the ring which costs almost half as much as the headlight itself, far from playing fair, my wait continues for the trim ring, lets see when that comes, il update my review again. thanks...

Great light
I have a 2014 Road King and bought a complete LED replacement light set for the bike as I desired greater visibility to others on the road. This particular light seems to be a standard of sorts when youre looking for a generic 7" headlamp, all the sellers has what looks like the same light in most of the ads, so I picked a Prime seller at random. For my bike this was mostly a plug and play affair: remove the chrome trim ring, remove the OEM light, remove the interior mounting ring, reverse the process for the new light. Four bolts total and maybe 20 minutes of time and I was up and running, the hardest part was holding the light in the housing while reattaching the mounting ring over it. On my bike I needed an additional electrical adapter because the LED light has an H4 connector, and the existing lights use both an H9 and H11 connector, the LED light DOES NOT come with this part. However, I did not need the housing adapter ring, I believe that's only for older bikes. As you can see from the pics the light has a small LED mounted high with two vertical-lensed lights to either side, those are the low beams, activating the high beam adds the larger LED on the bottom. This is different from the OEM light I had which used a single bulb up top with a reflector/diffuser to spread out the light, the LED is a direct projector with no deflector. It's definitely a different look with the 3 lights arranged in a semicircle, but I'm not a Harley purist so I'm fine with it.I can't give it a review for night lighting ability since I rarely ride at night in the summer due to bug swarms, the bike and I look like we've been glazed with black sugar after riding through the insect clouds. During the day, however, the light is very bright, I had a friend three blocks down the street watching and he said the LED headlight and two aux LED's made the front of the bike a wall of white light. I will probably adjust the aux lights to point out to the sides a bit for better side lighting, and so riders in front of me aren't blasted by LED.This looks to be a fine light for making me seen on the roads, it's bright and very easy to install. The main lens is plastic so there may be some sunlight degrading/hazing over time but for the price compared to Harley Daylighters it would be inexpensive to replace ($90 for this compared to $500 for Harley). The part description for the electrical adapter is ""Vision X 9892900 H4 to H9 and H11 Y with Connector"" in case your bike also has the H9/H11 light connections.
