I like the fact that I ordered a fuel cap that locks, and this is definitely a fuel cap that locks.I don’t like the fact that the retaining ring that attaches to the old cap does not fit.

Fits 2024 Ford F250 6.7L diesel. Key works easily with no sticking or problems. Product is substantial with good feel.

It fits but it doesn’t lock and whoever installed the lock damaged it in the process.

Had issues with this locking cap when I first received it , it was extremely hard to unlock , and went to return it , well it started to get easier to unlock and now the last time I fuelled up it was impossible to unlock and remove, I had to get a mechanic to come by and help with it, after prying on it and twisting it finally unscrewed !!! I don't know what I would have done if my truck was totally empty and I couldn't have driven for help. This is a total waste of money and wished I had returned it right away .

Very cheaply made, breaks easily when trying to unscrew - cap skips and stops catching, ends up stripped so just spins when it’s in unlocked position, if it breaks completely without unscrewing it it’s a huge pain to remove!

It’s not the highest quality product but appears to work. At this time I’ve only driven approximately 60 miles with the lock cap installed so my major concerns are if I should get any EVAP engine codes the first order of business would be to re-install the OEM fuel cap. The other concern is if the locking mechanism should fail and you are in a position where you cannot remove the cap which I guess that could happen as it could with the OEM cap as well. So, before I installed the locking cap I lubricated the lock mechanism liberally with graphite spray and cycled the lock numerous times.Should I have any issues I will update this review. Yes, I would recommend this product but just remember, “Locks only keep the Honest People Out…”

As some other reviews pointed, it was hard to remove since new. Just clicking like the key wasn't turned. Sprayed a bit silicone spray inside the key hole, turned the key few times and now it works as smoothly as it should.Update: It doesn't work. After few days of not removing it it's stuck. Problem seems to be with filler neck being too tight so threaded part stays in the truck while top of the cap keeps spinning and clicking.
