Carson BugView Bug Catcher with Built-in 5x Magnifying Glass

My grandson was terrified of bugs. I bought this hoping would help and it certainly did !! You don’t have to touch the bugs, just place it over and close the bottom. You can see the bug and safely release bit. I even caught. Nasty wasp with it, just to remove it from the kitchen. My grandson loves it… not enough bugs around for him to look at ! Absolutely, amazing purchase !

Got this for safely extracting spiders and bees and flies from my home, it was the one with the longest arm and the biggest reach, it is good quality and has saved me from wobbling about with a glass and a piece of paper many times!

Great for Kids enabling them to inspect all types of insects by easily catching them, viewing them and then returning them to nature Very sturdy and easily operated A brilliant choice for my Granddaughter, which was combined with a bug book

Very good, but would be better if it was slightly wider

I love this thing! I've never had a problem with spiders but I'd always worry that I'd be hurting or scaring them if I picked them up to put outside, with this device I can gently lower it over them and shut the little slider slowly so they can move themselves out of the way, and then I can safely pop them into the garden. And I can have a good look at them 😂

Fantastic way to capture spiders and moths trapped in the flat and release them in a humane manner. Previously I'd look for a container and a piece of card but that was too much hassle. I found a huge spider tonight above my bed; captured and released it in under a minute. Hassle-free! This item is well-made and very durable. It is pricey but worth the money if you have a phobia of the insect you are capturing for release as you can hold it at arms length.

I bought this three years ago as a funny surprise because my partner always scrambled to find a bit of paper to slide under the glass for those surprisingly large house spiders that appear out of nowhere. It wasn't meant to be a serious gift but has actually been an extremely practical item! Its not just a toy for kids! This gets used for bees and wasps in the summer (aka 'spicy flies' to the cat) and spiders and moths and everything else that finds its way inside. It doesn't damage the little critters legs or wings when used deliberately and we've used it to let the cat think she's caught the bug while preventing injury to either, so she ends her hunt without distress. With this much extended, frequent use the only concern is that the orange sliding flap has warped slightly on the closing edge so we sometimes have to extend it carefullt so bugs don't try to get underneath the small hump as its closing. Once closed it is secure though, as we've once or twice caught a late night spider and forgotten to release them the next day then found a small web built in there that requires a clean out. This has definitely been worth its cost and I don't think our house will ever be without one again!

Grandchildren loved them, sturdy quality as my grandchildren are heavy handed yet after a year still working fine

Kids love it, good quality, use it to save any pests inside the home and let them outside.

Works very well. Sturdy and gentle bottom to avoid hurting the insects.

Utilissimo e pratico per spostare i "coinquilini" senza nuocere a nessuno.

Muy buen producto, cumple con lo que se dice de él.

Je déteste toucher les insectes avec les doigts, mais mon fils adoré les observer. Avec ces pièges je peux lui en ramener facilement de mes ballades en forêt.
