Little Blue Truck's Christmas: A Christmas Holiday Book for Kids

There are lots of Christmas books out there but this is the best one we've found for our son. It immediately became his favourite book and he especially loves the Christmas tree lights.

My 2.5 year old son loves the original and was thrilled to have this Christmas edition. This one focuses on counting and has a fun surprise at the end with blinking lights. We can't ever read this one once - after we finish and the lights stop blinking, he asks: Again?!

My daughter loves vehicles, counting, maths, and Christmas. This book ticked all those boxes and more with short simple rhymes to better hold her attention and beautiful simple scenic artwork with enough else to find or look at but not too much that it distracted from the story. Absolutely lovely and magical. The pictures tell the story! I didn’t know what to expect when I bought this book, I was pleasantly surprised and my daughter adores this book and even reads it back to us as best she can. Highly recommend for young children.

We are a huge fan of this series and have the other two books so had to pick this one up too! The trees lighting at the end are sweet and we loved seeing how the characters were spending Christmas.

The lights on the last page was a east surprise for my twin toddlers! They absolutely love this book!

Nice little story, about little blue truck delivering trees. My little one enjoyed working out how the lights 'knew' when to come on on the last page.

Disappointed that the book was dirty in some spots and the battery had died so the little lights don’t light up in the back. I would have bought it new.

Really cute holiday book. Encourages a little counting and language is simple enough for beginner readers. Colors are vivid and there are lots of animals your child is already familiar with. Many reviewers complained that the Christmas tree on the last page did not light up and that the button batteries were dead. Well, mine did not light up at first either. I nearly bought new batteries. But there were so many to choose from and three of them cost more than the book did. So, I went home to remove a battery to bring with me to the store. And that's when I noticed the teeny, tiny black ON/OFF switch above the battery door. It was in the OFF position to save the batteries. Flip it to the ON position just before you sit down to read and your child will have a nice surprise at the end of the book as promised.

Love the book itself but non of the pages were glued together properly which to a one year old would be fun to rip apart.

Great book has the twinkle lights on the last page. Has an on/off switch for the lights which I thought was cool because none of our other books with batteries have that option.
