True Utility TU407K FireWire-Refillable Windproof Classic Lighter with TurboJet Flame, One Size

Not great, better options out there. I bought this and one other jet lighter and not impressed. It lasted about a year before i threw it away, the ignition trigger seems to ware out after a while and the flame jet is not very strong not great in high winds. The lid was always supprisingly awkward, it seemed to get in the way a lot as its maximum opening position is verticle just as the picture, i toyed with just snapping it off but the trigger gave out before i decided. Looks like a Zippo but with a jet flame, with benefit of hindsight i'd of bought a genuine zippo. Not recomended unless you're a patriotic Brit

This is the second time that I’ve had to return this product as it is not the one that is in the picture, which is the item I assumed I was getting. The item in the picture that I thought I ordered resembled a Zippo lighter, the one I received looks totally different, I am very disappointed. The product description that I ordered was a TU460 but the product I received was a TU407K. Very misleading information. Product would have got zero stars but it wouldn’t let me.

update This lighter has completely change compared to when I bought it and gave it 5 stars, it is not the same lighter with the flip lid that was a great lighter as described. Feels great and quality. Just need a reminder that this comes empty and requires filling before it can be used.

Do not buy this lighter for two very simple reasons... they do not work (3rd one have tried) the click is super temperamental and frequently refuses to work multiple times - then for no reason it just works & seller only offers Hermes drop off - which is nowhere near where I live. Well played 👏🏻

5 stars thus far, after receiving mine a month ago. Doesn't guzzle butane anywhere near as fast as other jet-flame lighters, lights first time every time thus far.Nice, solid construction, good weight in the hand. A little on the small side, so can be a smidge fiddly to open and ignite one-handed, but that's a small quibble. The fact the flame-adjustment dial protrudes to the sides of the case was a concern at first, but being in my pocket doesn't seem to affect the dial, so no random zero-flame, or eyebrow-singers when I'm out and about.All in all (again, after a month of ownership), a solid, dependable all-weather lighter that won't have you buying a can of gas to fill it every other day.

I absolutely love this thing, i use heat shrink wrapping 4 or 5 times a week and have been using this for it for over a year, the hinge still feels excellent and the only issue i had was the plastic nob falling off but i super glued it back on and have not had an issue since, no leaks or anything, just an awesome product.

Works brilliantly as a lighter. Looks nice. I bought this at a reduced rate, I thought because it had been sold before and then returned. I really couldn't see any damage to the lighter or the packaging. It seemed like new to me! Thanks Amazon.
