Q: Do these pens still leek? I last brought about 6 years ago loved to write with them but always covered in ink

Q: Are these pens good for big cursive writing for many hours at a time

Yes, they are a pleasure to use with the 1.6mm nib - we give them out on our training courses for students to write notes - everyone comments how good they are, even though they are simple and good price - there are also different colour versions available which are useful for highlighting certain points.

Q: Do these pens smudge if drawing lines and the ruler moves over the line to draw the next line ? Thanks

Yes, these pens will smudge. They are the smoothest Bic pens for writing but do need time to dry, even when writing in cards you either have to blot or wait until you close it due to the ink transfer.

Q: Are these pens good for cursive handwriting

The size of your handwriting i.e. point size (at least 12pt) you should not have a problem. However these cheap pens have a 1.6mm ball which is more suited for short information for instance a heading which is normally done in UPPER CASE OR BLOCK CAPITALS. I would reccomend that if you plan to use cursive script on a daily basis that you stick to the normal ball size, or do as I do invest in a decent ink or ball point pen such as Lamy 0.75 from around £50.00.
