After repeatedly replacing rubber or felt stick-on pads on the bottom of my dining chairs after they came off, I decided it was time for a different approach. After reading the positive reviews I decided these must be worth a try. Wow, what a difference between these and the adhesive variety. Importantly though, these are best for wooden furniture feet or maybe hard moulded plastic, I imagine they would be very difficult fix into metal legs. These seem to have been very well made. They’re strong, the felt layer is adequately thick, good quality and firmly attached to the metal body, and the screws are concealed once tightened. I do strongly recommend drilling small pilot holes, as the screw heads damage quite easily if they meet too much resistance as they’re being turned, so the pilot holes help to take away that initial pressure of getting into the wood. For the same reason, you should also make sure your screwdriver is a snug fit for the screw. Now these are on, my chairs glide smoothly with little resistance along my kitchen floor tiles, making movement of the chairs effortless as you sit or get up or move them about. There’s also none of the judder or unsightly marks that you get with rubber stick-on alternatives. I wish I’d found these ages ago. More than that, I wish my dining chairs had had something like these on them from the start when I bought them. I definitely recommend these.

Firm felt pads held in a robust metal cup are fixed to the furniture leg with a pozidrive type screw through a central hole in the felt and cup. The felt and the metal cup look very well manufactured but only time will tell how well the pads are fixed to the cups and how hard wearing the felt is. I drilled pilot holes before screwing the pads to the legs and ensured that the screw ended up against the metal cup, well below the surface ot the felt. Very easy to do, but you will need to mark out and drill a pilot hole in all but the softest furniture material. I'm going to check the pads after a couple of weeks to get some idea how the felt stands up to normal use bearing in mind that when the pad wears down it could expose the head of the mounting screw.

SIMALA Furniture Pads Floor Protectors are great for cutting down to a specific size. I have used these under sofas, table, four chairs and stools. Cutting the pads does require a good knife. The pads are easy to apply and the adhesive appears to be good. They are holding so far. If visible, the cuts look great under neutral colours but do stand out under darker colours such as black. I found the pre-cut pads useless as they're so small I didn't have any need for them. I would have preferred bigger pads instead.

The pads came in a box with tyhe associated srcrews to attachh to the bottom of the chair legs. I was using them for high sttols for the breakfast bar and had previously unsuccessfully tried the stick on felt pads. The first thing is that they are sited within a predrilled steel cup which allows easy attachment with a screwdriver to the base of the chair leg. The fel pad is thick and firm, and so cushions the legs on the floor and gives a good level of adhesion and noise reduction when moving the stools around the room. The pads and cups raise the height of the chair/stool by approximately 5 mm, but this doesn't cause me any problems. Overall, I am very happy with the pads and they are far superior to the usual sticky felt pads that dont last very long.

Bought to replace stick on felt pads that would stick to the wooden chair legs for long. Positives: really east to fit to the legs of our kitchen and dining chairs. Negatives: they have caused scratches to the travertine tile floor and would do worse to our wood floor but we won’t use them there until fitted with additional felt pads. Overall we suggest getting these plus the felt stick on protectors.

Work well. Hopefully they will last a while. I’ve tried various brands over the years. Initially I thought these were very expensive but gave them a go as have lost so many stuck on ones in the past. You do get quite a lot of them in the box, and being screwed in place hopefully they will last. Because they are so thick they raise the height of chairs more than the slim stick on plastic ones.

Voll zufrieden die ersten 6 Monate sind getestet immer noch alles Ok . Einfach nur ordentlich gerade ansetzen dann klappt das perfekt mit den Nägeln bisher keine Abnutzung und auf Fliesen lassen sich selbst die Dinerbänke gut rutschen .Volle Empfehlung
