This manual food processor has completely replaced my bulky electric chopper. It is fast, effortless, and does an incredible job in seconds without needing a plug socket. A few simple pulls of the cord give you evenly diced onions, garlic, herbs, or nuts without turning everything into mush. Pull a couple more times, and you have instant salsa or pesto. It rinses clean in seconds under the tap. I was so impressed with how easy it is on the wrists that I bought one for my parents. They absolutely love it as no fiddly buttons, no heavy lifting, and no endless chopping boards to scrub.

Although I have a full size food processor, I needed a smaller one that would just do a few cloves of garlic or maybe 1 onion. I think this is the best kitchen device I have bought in a very long time. It's very simple how it works, but is well made and easy to assemble and take apart. Cleaning is simple and you can wash by hand or put it in the dishwasher. I have chopped 1 onion at a time, cutting into 4 chunks first, placing the pieces in and you then just pull the cord, and watch the food get chopped up. You can easily set how small the piecies are by only pulling on the cord a couple of times and looking what size the food pieces are, then pulling again until you're happy. It's so easy and I went on to chop 1kg of onions in this way, using a spatula to scrape out the pieces, and though you remove the blade each time, it's easy to do that and very easily slots back into place. It was great to chop a bulb of garlic and make a batch of garlic butter with it, after peeling the cloves first, I put around half in the tub, though it would hold more, and did it in two batches. Really simple to chop herbs by the bunch and also made light work of harder veg, like carrots. I peeled and cut the carrots into around 3 pieces before processing. I needed a punnet of mushrooms chopped finely and would normally do this by hand, but using this device was a no brainer. did it all in seconds. I will be trying bread next to see how fine I can get the breadcrumbs. Love this gadget and would rather spend a bit longer processing the food like this, with an easy wash up, compared to processing large quantites in my full size Magimix, and then have the hastle of washing that kit. Well worth the money and got it next day delivery.

I don't normally write reviews, but this chopper has genuinely impressed me that I thought that I had to leave a review. I have a small child and so I now cook a lot of meals from scratch. I was forever spending lots of time chopping vegetables and found that even cooking a basic spag bol would take forever to prepare. This chopper really speeds things up - it only takes 5 mins to prepare all the veg and I can't stress how much easier it has made meal times. I can get vegetables fine enough that I don't need to puree things and can get things like spag bol, vegtable pasta sauce prepared in under 5 mins. Some people may not like the fact that you have to chop the veg up a little first but I cannot stress how much time this device has saved me in the kitchen. With limited parts it is also a doodle to clean, either a quick wash in the bowl or put it in the dishwasher. Another plus point is that it doesn't stain easily and hasn't discoloured after heavy use. The only downside I have noticed are that the plug on the underside of the lid to let out water after washing is a little temperamental, but can be removed eventually. I've also managed to put a little grove in the lid where the string pull rubs on the top - this doesn't affect the use and so I'm just a little more careful about how I pull the string pull. I just want to say that I payed full price for this item and so my review has not be affected by recievinbg a discount!

The food processor does exactly what it says it does, Extremely pleased with the product. The quality of the product is very good, the price of the product is much better from this supplier, than others I have seen for sale.

This is a great little food chopper. Does what it says on the tin….simple to use, easy to clean. I sliced an onion into about 4 big chunks. Put in chopper, put the lid back on then just pulled the handle back and forwards and boom it chopped my onion up. The more pulls you do, the smaller it chops. Only issues for me are I wish it could do more chops like dicing, but as I say very good at slicing onion and saves tons of time and greatly reduces crying. Also I wish the lid would ‘lock’ when you’ve put the food in but it doesn’t, but it does have very good grip on the bottom, so were you place it to chop it doesn’t move around. Generally very good.

One of the best gadgets! This hands down is the best chopping processor we have ever had, onions , peppers … they look like a professional has chopped them … easy to clean .. be careful as the blades are super sharp! Sturdy and reliable.. a must have for any kitchen!

Makes quick work of chopping a large onion etc, but you will need to cut the food down into quarters, so it fits in. Everything works and is easy to keep clean.

This is perfect for those times when I need something chopped quickly but don't want to drag out and clean a full-size food processor. I've used it for peppers, vegetables, and even to turn leftover Doritos into a barbecue rub. Un utensilio perfecto. Tiene más capacidad que otras y es fácil de limpiar e higiénica. Aunque sea más caro que otros productos similares, merece la pena pagar lo que vale. Tenía otra mas barata y de menor capacidad, pero además de no tener el rendimiento que tiene esta era peor de limpiar y le quedó un color a sucio y deteriorado. Definitivamente esta máquina le saca mucha ventaja,en cuanto a calidad a cualquier producto similar del mercado, por lo que recomiendo con total convicción su compra.

Also ich schreibe echt selten eine Rezension, aber hier mache ich es doch mal !! Hatte es echt satt, beim Zwiebeln schneiden, ständig diese tränenden Augen. Anfangs war ich etwas skeptisch, ob der Universalhacker meine Zwiebeln so schneidet, wie ich es will. Nämlich in gut portionierte und gleichmäßige Stücke, oder auch mal gerne in etwas kleinere Stücke... Tja was soll ich sagen ?? Das Teil ist einfach perfekt und echt sein Geld wert !!! Es kommen entweder große oder mittlere oder auch kleine Stücke dabei raus. Je nachdem wie oft man an dem Griff zieht. Perfekt, kann ich nur sagen !! Zwiebelhaut einfach vorher abschälen und einmal in der Mitte durchschneiden. Fertig !! Dann in den Häcksler und zweimal oder dreimal am Griff gezogen. Nachgucken !!! Große Stücke !! Passt !!! Oder ein paar mal mehr am Griff ziehen und die Stücke werden dann immer kleiner... Sehr gutes Teil. Völlig ohne Strom und zudem gut zu reinigen !!! Jedoch aufpassen !! Denn die Messer sind sehr scharf !!! Also wer keinen Bock mehr auf tränende Augen beim Zwiebel schneiden hat, sollte sich das Teil schnappen und es selbst damit mal probieren... Du wirst sehen, es klappt echt gut... Klare Kaufempfehlung von mir !!! Und ich möchte betonen, das ich hier keine Werbung für die Firma mache, sondern einfach nur vom dem Teil begeistert bin...
