I recently picked up the Frog Tape Green Multi Surface Painters Masking Tape for a painting project at home, and I’m so glad I did. I had to repaint a few rooms and was really focused on getting those clean, sharp lines between the walls and ceiling, and this tape delivered perfectly. It seems as though wall paper is no longer the staple wall covering and has been overtaken by painting feature walls. In the ongoing decorating cycle I seem to be stuck in - my living room is on its 3rd iteration in six years??? - being able to conjure up straight lines where white paint meets coloured paint is essential. I've used frog tape to good effect before so picked up a roll of this. The Good - Firstly, it's green, or yellow if you bought the yellow tape, this means in a sea of tools, sheets and beige, it really stands out. It's handy. It's easy to apply, just the right amount of tension to ensure you are putting a straight line in without tearing it until you want to. In the past when using general masking tape I have often tore it during application, not so with this. As long as you remember to remove it shortly after painting it really will leave a perfectly fantastic border line. I found once when I left it on for a couple of hours it took a lot of paint off with it on removal. Don't be like me. Take it off early. It does come off easily when pulled, try to pull in short amounts rather than ending up with 6ft dangling on the floor at a time, this also helps to increase the effectiveness and reduce unwanted paint removal I have found. I don't seem to ever get any seepage from this so it gives me confidence to just hurl the paint on, meaning I can go a fair bit faster round a room. There isn't anything bad to say about this product, it is a premium product versus standard beige masking tape you can pick up anywhere, but you really do get a premium finish for your money. A decorating essential. Highly recommended. Five Stars.

This Frog Tape is excellent quality and works exactly as described. It sticks well, removes cleanly, and leaves perfectly sharp paint lines with no bleed. The 36mm width is just right for most painting jobs, and the 41.1m roll lasts a long time. It’s easy to apply, tears cleanly by hand, and doesn’t damage the surface when removed. I’ve tried cheaper masking tapes before, but none come close to this. It’s reliable, consistent, and makes painting so much easier. Definitely worth the price for professional-looking results every time.

Love this... BUT! I have tried to learn Cutting in and watched lots of videos on You tube. Even bought an angled paint brush and still the paint goes up on the ceiling. There really is a art to this cutting in! Anyway, so I used cheap masking tape which took off half the plaster. Then I found this. For novices like me it has been a lifesaver. I put it on the ceiling and anywhere I need to use it and can paint edges quite fast. However, I do take the tape off quite quickly afterwards and don't leave it on too long. Once it took off a tiny piece of plaster but it's the first time that has happened to me. Mostly the lines are quite sharp. Occasionally it seems through in a couple of areas. I am unsure if that is due to me not sticking it down firmly enough but it is still such a better job that I could ever achieve with a free hand at painting. I always use it now - no hesitation. There appears to be a yellow version that is for more delicate painting when I tried to buy it very few people appear to sell it on here so I have just stuck to this one, it's good enough.

This tape is great for painting and decorating. It is easy to apply and there hasn’t been any leakage, ensuring straight paint lines. The case it comes with is handy for storage also to keep it clean and stop it getting ruined.

Amazing for not getting any paint on the skirting and ceiling and creates a perfectly straight line once removed really good quality tape

Holds, easy peel off however if not carefull can peel some things off with it.

The right amount of stick and wide enough too. Good tape.

Dans les supermarchés de bricolages chez moi, on ne trouve que 3 cm max. Ici c'est grand format, tout à fait ce que je cherchais. Le Frogtape colle super bien (j'ai collé un mot sur la porte de rue car la sonnette est en panne, il colle le papier depuis 6 mois dans les intempéries belges sans aucun souci et se décolle avec aisance, se recolle sans problème). Idem dès qu'il s'agit de coller sur mur en plâtre par ex et que, une fois peint, je l'ai oublié pendant un certain temps (quelques mois en fait) et sans aucun souci ni sans abîmer le mur, il s'est décollé. Et vu sa largeur de 5 cm, on a le droit de peindre avec de grosses brosses, on n'ira jamais salir ce qui ne doit pas l'être. J'adore ce "tape". Je recommande à tous!

Vorher immer normales Krebband genommen. Das erste Mal dieses benutzt und absolut begeistert. Kann ich nur empfehlen und werde es weiter nutzen.

The main use I have for this tape is for labelling plastic food containers before they go in the freezer. Absolute game changer because the adhesive is strong enough to survive months at -18 DegC but then pulls off cleanly when needed. No adhesive residue left on the containers before they go in the dishwasher.
