Cetraben Dermatological Emollient Cream, Dry or Chapped Skin, SLS and Paraben Free, Fragrance Free, 500 g

This is an amazing moisture cream that really does what it says on the tin! I’ve tried many others - like E45 and the like but nothing works as well as this. I had an operation that left a severe hole in my neck that couldn’t be stitched and had to heal over itself. That was many years ago. As I’ve got older, my skin has thinned and sometime bleeds. This is what I needed the cream for to stop me picking at it and making it bleed further. This softens the skin and absorbs really well. I wouldn’t use anything else. Not cheap rubbish but an excellent product that actually works.

Good quality that really helped my wife when she had some very dry skin on her feet. We did have one container that didn't work properly but that was quickly replaced and all the others were no problem and easy to use.

The positives: I have very dry and sensitive skin, so got this unperfumed cream to help it stay soft. It works very nicely as a base for essential oils. I put 3-4 drops of lavender essential oil in my palm and then pump out some of this cream to mix it with and apply to my face before sleeping. So this helped with both: falling asleep (I used to have trouble with this) and keeping the skin soft and unblemished. Since the cream is a bit 'dense' and heavy, the oil also helps to dilute it and make it easier to rub in. This is a good sized bottle: it's lasted for a year and is only 1/4 empty. So the bottle probably lasts for at least 2 years, depending on how much you use it. A very useful detail in the design: the bottle has a nozzle which twists to lock, which means I can keep it in my bedside drawer without worrying about accidental spills. On the downside: Have to say the cream works nicely overnight, but skin is still dry after the next time I've taken a warm shower - so doesn't make that much of a difference to skin moisture when used long term. Can also be a bit greasy to put on in the morning before going out.

Really helps the eczema on my face. Easy to dispense and I can keep it on the bed side table to apply at night. Good value for money.

Deserves 10 stars! So many creams tour amazing results but deliver none! Cetraben is different. This is the only cream I can use on my whole body, especially on my face and it does everything it says it does. I have very inflamed roseacea and I can already see a difference on my red bumpy area of my face. My arms are moist for the first time in 20 years. This stuff is amazing and I will never be without it.

This cream was recommended by a friend’s dermatologist. I have over sensitive, dry, itchy skin in the winter and this thick rich cream settles it down. I apply it after my shower just before I go to bed...keeps me comfortable for 24 hours. Works just as well and feels the same as the Canadian product I’ve used and that just had a massive price hike. I like to shop Canadian but not for twice the price.

I like this product. It's moisturizing, and a little goes a long way. I finished a bottle and ordered a new one. I use this for my body and like a moisturizer for my lady part. No itching, no oiliness; it's just right. I also use this for my son's eczema. Again very moisturizing. I apply it to his skin straight from a bath when damp. If you have eczema, this is a good product for you. If you want a moisturizer for flower ladies this is for you. A little goes a long way. I Am not saying it's an end-all-be-all but a good start.

I've been battling extreme dry and chappy face, which kept peeling and stinging for a year,my skin was literally addicted to moisturize.I was using CeraVe moisturizing cream and lotion,it worked for a short period to soothe it but had to keep reapplying because it will dry off and the cycle continuous.I watch Dr Vinita on YouTube and she recommended Cetraben,I tried and I'm never ever going back. It's just everything my skin needs,I only have to apply once and I'm good to go.My skin is also becoming uniforms as I was suffering discoloration due to peeling. Good thing is,it doesn't cause any break out. I'm stucked.
