Do these actually work correctly? I bought some for my RC and they work but the clutch side is sort of loose and the adjusters are kinda off..

Difficult to answer precisely. I installed them on my Duke 390 and I am happy them. For me it was a good fit. Before I bought mine, I also did some research and on the KTM390 forum some people complained that for them it felt they had to much play. (I think some of them got them from Ebay though) They recommended getting some washers. I did but I never needed them. I did not have enough room (play) to fit the washers and after the install they did not feel any different then the OEM ones (as far as play). I was able to adjust both of them for my hands. You have 6 positions. I will say that the amount of adjustment you can make is not huge. I've had these for about a year and they work great and look great IMO. I hope this answer is helpful.
