Great quality for the price extremely easy to assemble beautiful on my fireplace

I've lost count of how many sets of fireplace tools I've owned over the years. I've never been completely satisfied with them, usually because of the tongs. They require two hands to use of course, but until this set, they require two hands and excessive care to hang back up. With these, one hand works, and no fiddling to keep them from falling out of the stand. All of the tools are nicely built, and fully functional. One thing I like to do is apply super glue or Loctite thread locker to the threaded connections - the business end and the handle. Be aware that on these tools, there is quite a bit of machining oil left on the threads, especially on the female threads, that needs to be cleaned off before the glues will stick.

Nice and heavy. Work well and decent price. I thought the brass handles gave an antique touch. Would buy again.

Looks good and is functionable, but don’t expect it to hold up to large logs and heavy stuff. We have a rather large fireplace and the shafts are a little too thin to my liking. But for a regular fireplace it should be just fine.

Easy assembly, heavy stout cast base, compact. Nice solid handles easy to use and put tools back on the rack

I would like to give this a higher rating. This is not terribly difficult to assemble, however... there are certain pieces that do absolutely need to be attached correctly with their corresponding parts. The directions are totally incomplete. Looks good and await usage.

This is being used for our fireplace and has done a fine job. It is very durable and well made.
