Predictable, removable signal cable, consistent quality
I purchased a set of three Nema 17-48mm motors (the larger size) for my homebrew printer. My printer is fairly large, and so initially I wanted to use these on the X and Y axis... for yucks sake, I installed it on the head for a direct extrusion setup. While the 48mm motor was HUGE for the direct extrusion and an overkill, it did a good job there. Eventually though I moved the 48mm motors to the X and Y axis. I wanted to also use it for my Z axis but the 48mm motor proved a little too tall for the way my X axis arm bracket was setup so I skipped it. Now to the motor itself: Quality: they appear to be commodity (in other words, I've seen different brands that look identical to these), but they're clean, nicely machined and they work. Application: I used them in my 12V setup, using up to 1A of power. All appears to have functioned well and there is no layer skipping. Thermals: At 1A drive+0.7A hold, the motor did get noticeably warm. When I lowered the hold power to 0.5A this seems to have dissipated. Anyways... I use them... the price was good... and they're running like a champ. Safe buy!

Great price to performance motor
Purchased as a replacement for my Ender 3 stock motors. Currently running them on X and Y axises at 1.5A (RMS) and have plenty of torque for for the speeds and moves it's doing. Printer easily reaches speeds of 500mm/s at 50K acceleration. Should have a bit more headroom once I install another one for dual motors. Motors at 1.5A are slightly warm the touch while in use but nothing that was alarming. Overall these are a great motor and fairly inexpensive and offer a huge leap in performance over stock motors.

Good stepper motor
Worked perfect for a clock project driven by an Arduino board.

Works great!
Overall I am very pleased with this stepper, it’s more than strong enough to power through my filaments at whatever speed I want. I attached an aftermarket heat sink to all of my steppers but I have to say this one runs much cooler than the others. The pricing is very competitive and it was worth every penny. All in all, good torque, great performance, much lighter than the stepper I had before, perfectly suited my needs

Very good value
I purchased 2 of these for my Ender 3 pro. One on the Y axis and one on a belted Z axis. Both of them operate without any issue. I am running them at 1.4 amps RMS and they do warm up but not anymore than the factory steppers. I will be purchasing more when my Ender 3 Max arrives.

Good
It’s a good stepper but the torque is limited because of the size. I had to get bigger steppers but im keeping this one in case I need it later on.

Great motor but...check wiring at the motor end (see product images)
I bought this a number of weeks ago in the process of designing a new extruder for my kit bashed Prusa MK2 - I call it my ORIGINAL i3 Custom...based on the Titan Aero extruder with E3D V6 HotEnd. After changing out my toolhead and re-connecting everything when it came time to extrude the motor buzzed, but no rotary motion. I noticed a reviewer pointed this out, and the product image collection shows this. A simple correction (in my case swapping the 2 middle pins), resulted in extruder motion. Other than that I have nothing but good things to say about it. It replaced a motor that was (unnecessarily), twice its size, reducing the weight my all metal carriage has to move in X. The motor has plenty of torque to drive the Titan Aero with 1.75mm filament (I have yet to test with a fiber-reinforced PLA, but with regular Hatchbox PLA it works great. I expect similar results with Hatchbox PPLA and PLA Pro+. Motor worked right out of the box without issues other than that caused by an mis-wired cable. During the heat of a 1-2 hour print job, checking motor temp with a touchless infrared thermometer, the motor temp didn't go above 38C (that's a couple degrees above normal body temperature for comparison), while my Z motors run around 28, X about 28, Y about 30. Pic is of the top view of the toolhead. The pancake motor is clamped to the carriage to the bracket just behind the extruder. Room was left between the stepper and the vertical plate of the carriage in case the motor change needed to be backed out. I would highly recommend this motor.

Does what it should. It's nice that it has a detachable cable.

Het verbaasd mij enorm hoe veel herrie deze motoren maken. Ik dacht dat ze stiller waren maar ik kan dit niet gebruiken voor mijn project. Ik ben over gestapt naar stille servo's.
