Rimmel London Match Perfection,10 g (Pack of 1)

Rimmel products in general are excellent value for money and this product was no exception. The translucent powder I was using before this was white in colour and I had assumed that the Rimmel version would be white too. After all, I think of translucent as colourless. However, the Rimmel powder was a very pale peach in colour and I was worried that this would be too obvious when I applied it to my skin as I am pale skinned. However, I needn't have worried. It disappeared into my skin as if it were colourless. It was really fine in texture and gave a really natural appearance. This was an excellent product for this low price. I will certainly buy again.

Great face powder - a staple for my bathroom cupboard

I have tried the Rimmel London Match Perfection Powder, and honestly, I am impressed! This translucent powder just sets my makeup completely, leaving an even finish on my skin-matte, not cakey or heavy. It is perfect for a light, natural look and helps to blur out blemishes and fine lines, softening your features. One thing I like about this powder is that it really blends into my skin tone. I have medium toned skin, and the one thing that always can make me a little nervous applying some sort of powder is the white cast, so for anyone with an olive skin tone like me; this powder works perfectly. Again, this leaves on no white cast. The staying power of this powder is also great. Usually, by midday my skin can get oily; as I have quite oily skin but with this powder, I barely notice shine, and touch up way less often as compared to other loose powders I was using before. The 10g size is perfect for travel, and a little goes a long way, so it will last quite a while. If you're in the market for an affordable but good setting powder, I really do recommend giving this a try for the price! I for sure will definitely be repurchasing. However, I find that it does have pretty messy packaging and the powder can easily spill out everywhere. Not ideal for rushing in the morning and rather a hassle to clean up. As well, it isn't ideal for those with dryer skin types as it can cause makeup to look cakey and thick; so I would not recommend it for those with dry skin.

Being a complete makeup junkie I have used every product you can think of. I have also tried a lot of powders with mixed results. I find that a lot of powders give a cakey appearance to makeup which I hate. As I have a mixture of dry skin with an oily t-zone I don't apply the powder all over so I use this to set the makeup under the eyes. This is a very lightweight powder which is great however can get rather messy as its so fine. It's very light in colour so suits fair skin but it's not transparent. It comes with an applicator although to be honest I find it difficult to use so would advise a good quality brush instead. I don't think it's the best powder I've used to be totally honest but I think it's great for a cheaper alternative. I would say be careful when opening and also when dipping your brush in as it goes everywhere so will waste a lot of product. I have seen this product being used on several makeup videos for 'baking' (not cookery!) I haven't tried it for that yet but I've seen it used successfully.

The powder has a nice pleasant soft scent which makes it nice to apply on your face. I don’t ever wear make up and I use this just on top of a moisturiser and it seems to do the trick of keeping the shine off my face. It does last a long time but not the whole day. My skin colour is on the mocha side and it conforms to my skin colour. Only downside is, I apply it using a kabuki brush and every time it cakes my clothes. Best keep in mind that it does tend to be very powdery and would leave residue on clothes which to be fair, can be easily brushed off.

It makes my face look nice, but it's a bit white if you know what I mean. it removes all the colour from the face. I have very light and fine skin so I think most of the ladies would find it too white as well. I'm not also fan of the way we are supposed to use it. I usually get all over my dress and my husband protests that some of that stuff gets even on his shoes, which are below the mirror I'm using. I must agree with other users that it is very fine, so it covers nicely. If the colour would be a better match, I probably would stick to it.

Best loose powder ever! Doesn't cake like some powders tend to, lasts all day and feels lovely on the skin. It is also actually translucent so will suit any skin tone. I don't get peoples reactions about this product being too fine and inhaling it blah blah, to me that sounds ludicrous, sure it is a fine loose powder, but not overly so. I use a brush to apply a light base of this product all over my face after my foundation before applying blusher, highlighter etc, then I use the puff provided to set my face once i'm done. Overall this product is the best value for money and for me better than the £25 mineral powder I had before discovering this.

I bought this powder after a lot of contemplation. I’m tan skinned,NC 44. Tried makeup revolution banana powder for under eyes before this,that is supposedly better than translucent powder for deeper skin tones. But I hated that one n was hence sceptical about buying translucent powder. If banana shade didn’t work for me,how would translucent look? But I gave it a go anyway bcoz of the price n I’m very pleased with the result. Go for it even if ur tan-dusky skinned. I use it for setting under eyes only

I didn’t expect much from this powder but it does an amazing job of setting and staying put. I do my setting spray BEFORE I set with power and it works beautifully. I have the most natural, silky finish and it lasts all day. I’ve been trying this powder during the really humid days and it doesn’t budge. If I need a touch up because I look a little shiny, it still looks natural and not cakey. A little goes a long way so I haven’t been using a lot of it. 10/10 powder!!

J'ai acheté cette poudre pour fixer mon maquillage. Je l'avais un peu abandonnée parce que je n'aimais pas l'utilisation et le résultat en utilisant l'applicateur fourni. J'utilise depuis peu une éponge humide pour poser la poudre et grande surprise : mon fond de teint tient toute la journée, et je ne brille plus ! Et le petit plus, cela ne me donne pas de boutons donc n'étouffe pas ma peau.
