These nutritional yeast flakes are a great addition to my kitchen. They have a pleasant, cheesy and slightly nutty flavour that works really well sprinkled over pasta, salads, popcorn, or mixed into sauces. This is my favourite nutritional yeast which I have repurchased many times as it is great value for how much you get, it lasts a lot longer than the pots you buy in the supermarket as it is a big bag. Tastes cheesy and nutty and is great for adding into sauces or soups or just sprinkling on top of dishes as a cheese alternative. I always add this to my mac and cheese to help the sauce thicken up a little and get that extra cheesy flavour that vegan cheese can miss out on.

I was deeply disappointed with the item when I saw the date. As a result, only 3 stars. However I had opened the packet prior to seeing the expiry date. I hadn't tried it though. A refund was quickly and efficiently supplied by Amazon. Many thanks Amazon. As I have decided to leave a review, I felt that I at least needed to taste it, since there's a star question above on flavour. A small taster was enough to be able to say that the flavour is very pleasant, although a little mild with a hint of cheese, however the flakes are wonderfully crisp and crunchy, seriously yummy. The milder flavour may be the result of the date, but possibly the flavour increases once added to food. I'm sure these flakes will enhance anything they are mixed with without overpowering the food or drink. They dissolved very easily in the mouth. I will re-order with the hope hope of receiving an appropriate sell by date My usual purchase is Braggs (American) and they give much more information on what is NOT contained in the nutritional yeast. Useful. Their BBF date is 23/04/2022. Can't really comment about that timeline in connection with this Whole Earth packet, The product is made in Estonia and is Non GMO.

Good value for money and gives good a nice cheesy taste. Lasts well. Good for vegans / vegetarians, lots of health benefits. Helpful that you can easily reseal the packaging.
