A Great Value for What You Get
This was a Prime Day Deal, so I only paid $86 and for that amount, it is as good or better than any other in that class of fans. It's not a high end fan (that's why it's from Amazon Basics), so it didn't come with a canopy ring (which hides the screws attached near the ceiling) or a remote control. However, it still looks good, does not wobble, runs quietly and moves air just fine. It closely matches the family room and master bedroom fans (sold by Monte Carlo) that came with our newly purchased house. The globe that encloses the light bulbs is actually nicer than the Monte Carlo model we have. The materials are good and assembly was relatively easy. Even at its current price of $100, it is still a great value.

Air flow
The 5 blade gives the right airflow for my bedroom and it’s dimmable and works with google.

Nice looking fan for the cheaper end
Update: Alright, we have moved, and because of the move I have had the opportunity to compare this fan to a big box store fan on the cheaper end ($85ish for a 44" fan, so a bit smaller), and a higher end fan from a lighting store. One thing that stands out that didn't occur to me before, is in the past when I installed fans (these are my first installs in 15+ years), they usually came with a canopy ring to hide the screws that secure it to the ceiling. This fan from Amazon, as well as the cheaper big box store fan, no longer has that, you see the 4 screws. The higher end fan, still comes with a canopy right to secure over the screws to keep it looking neater. Apparently this has become a cost savings opportunity for cheaper fans. However, in comparing this fan to the big box store fan, this one is missing a few of the attention to detail touches. One is for flush mount, the big box fan came with a rubber ring to put between where the canopy mounts to the fan housing. The Amazon fan does occasionally rattle a bit on high speed. I am not sure from where, but I suspect that it could be where the canopy mounts to the fan housing if I didn't get the screws really tight. Also, the big box store fan had more foam padding around where the blades attach to the arms, and the arms to the housing. Seeing some of these touches on a cheaper local fan, has me rethinking the rating and value here, and depending on price, it might be worth shopping around. It's going to be a couple of months before I am able to hang it up unfortunately, but it looks as expected. I attached some pics for reference. It has the brushed nickel finish that we prefer, and a closed lampshade, or one that at least covers the bulbs. We don't like the ones that has a shade for each bulb. The nice thing about this is the shade is a nice white, so it won't tint the bulb at all. We have an older one that has a goldish hue glass shade, and without really bright bulbs it dims the room. The options are a light and darker finish for the blades, has individual controls for fan and light, reverse switch, and 3 speeds. All pretty standard for a run of the mill fan in the $100 range. It's packaged similarly as the big box stores, so no issues or concerns there. They do list it as a 4 speed on site here, but not sure why. The packaging lists 3 speeds and CFM ratings...unless they count Off as a speed? Which would be weird. Do you know how fast you were going back there? I'm sorry officer, I thought I was off.

Pretty, but not much airflow
Even when on high, you do not really feel much wind from it.

This fan failed after a few months of use
A few months after installing this ceiling fan, the motor quit working. I reached out to Amazon to return this product and was informed they would not supply a box or shipping label and I would need to pay a restocking fee. So I guess I will eat the cost on this one and will not buy Amazon basic products moving forward.
