Tyger Auto TG-GD6N60158 Front Bumper Guard Fits 2005-2021 Nissan Frontier | Textured Black | Light Mount | Bull Bar

This was easy to install on my 2019 Frontier. No removal of bumber required. However, you will need to use a Dremel to cut some air dam cowling to access the trucks anchor points to bolt on the brackets. Directions provided were straightforward. Took this 57YO 45 minutes to install. Use a ramp for better access under bumper. I used a low profile 3" ramp, it was enough. It looks perfect with the matching step sides I installed last year from Tyger. Product is sturdy, my 190lb frame was supported with ease. The dog slept through the whole process...

These Nerf bars and matching grill guard are very nice. They look good. Mounting the grill guard was a nightmare. Although it would be easier if I were to do it again (lessons learned). From the beginning, remove the lower plastic air dam/shield from the vehicle. It's actually the easiest part of installation, and much easier to cut when removed from vehicle. Remove the passenger side tow hook and loosely install the frame mounting brackets then hold the plastic body piece up and guesstimate your cuts. Cutting the plastic piece on both sides is necessary, or just remove it completely. A little simple cutting on the passenger side, more detailed and complex cutting on the driver side. A dremel tool works great for cutting. I used a 6 gallon Lowe's blue bucket to rest the guard on while I assessed the line up and cutting needs. Now after 1100 miles of use, I'm glad I purchased it. The grill guard is matched up with the matching Tyger Nerf bar/step rails. Together the set looks very nice. Step rails are "5 star" rock solid! The grill guard is sturdy and solid but I wouldn't trust it to support my 175 pound body weight so "3 stars" on sturdiness. All said, I'm very happy and would purchase the ensemble again.

So far so good. Unit is heavy and feels well built. I installed it on my 2018 Pro4X by myself but it is easier with a second person to hold it center. Best advice is to leave all brackets slightly loose while you put it all together. Then have someone hold it in position where you want it until you can cinch everything down. Lower valence has to come off or be trimmed. I just removed it and left it off. Factory tow hook has to come off and can’t be reused because it won’t fit. Seems a simple design adjustment would allow to reuse the tow hook but it’s no big deal. It’s obviously more about aesthetics than a functional protective bumper guard but for the price it adds a great look to my truck. I approve.

Reading some of the bad reviews, I thought about passing over this one. Glad I didn’t. I first bought the side steps and then the hitch armor. Both of those were 100% quality and no issues. So I bought the bull bar. Quality for price is spot on. I am very confident in my purchase. Would have given 5 stars all around except for I think there are too many bolted parts. Makes for some adjusting and readjusting during install. I would think this needs to be welded together to ensure it’s not just ripped off by Joe Schmo with a set of tools. I chose to weld the 4 connections together to make it solid. No issues now. Minimal plastic shield cutting on both side to make it fit perfectly. I am 220lb and can sit on the bull bar and it holds SOLID and doesn’t even budge a bit. I can also move the whole truck pushing it. Before I ordered this I called the company and ask about several things other reviews have said. About rust being on the items, if they're shipped by Amazon that Amazon's fault and Amazon ships the return. I will say the quality of this bar is very good but, that is a matter of perspective.I'm not running through Mad Max barriers I went to the bar for good lucks, the occasional Branch or tree limbs when I'm hunting, and in general something to keep people from backing into the front of my truck.This does fit a Suzuki equator that is what I put it on obviously from the pictures. The bolts fit in the frame the only thing that I had to do was work the side of the frame that did not have a tow hook by running the tow hook bolt up through to get the threads clean.The Cutting is a little more than it says in the directions for the plastic piece but nothing anyone would see and if you do it clean it will work out fine. The Bolts in the frame tightened up, the brackets tightened up, three of the four bolts that connect the bar to the bracket tightened up.With that being said there's always one bolt as the title of my review says and the last bolt that I did for the whole job, was the one that won't tighten up. As it's a holiday weekend I can't reach out to the manufacturer until Tuesday but I'm sure they'll make it right. And I would not have to remove any of the mounting hardware just the four bolts that hold the bar to the bracket. I give this an 8 out of 10 for Quality only because of the one part that wouldn't work, but the Finish is awesome and the bar looks really sharp on my vehicle, is not cheap as some others say it's about 30 lb and again unless you're going to run a roadblock this should do the job for anybody.

I am thoroughly impressed with this bullbar. I took a chance and ordered a "open box/damaged box" for 107 shipped. The bar showed up in PERFECT condition with all parts still wrapped and in factory bags. I can't say others will show up like this but mine did. We installed it on my teenage son 07 Nissan Xterra. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. We were done in under an hour with air tools and a few wrenches. As for the looks and finish it has a hammer tone like finish which looks great and well applied.

This product literally took 35 minutes to install along with my son. Did not run to any issues. Advisable to use all nuts and bolts sent with the shipment and using a torque wrench to tighten the main bracket onto the frame. Adds an aggressive look to my truck. Completed truck with a step side, bed cover and now a bull bar all made by Tyger.
