Oakley Men's OO9188 Flak 2.0 XL Sunglasses

I purchased these for my husband as a birthday gift to replace his older pair of Flax. The crisp white frame paired with the reflective lenses (Polarized & PRIZM) look really sharp and stylish on him. They fit his face perfectly and he says they feel comfortable. He also said the Polarized & PRIZM lenses make driving in bright sunlight much easier and helped him see more clearly during our recent July beach trip. Excellent quality and durability, as expected from Oakley, and at a great price!

Love these glasses, the Prizm lenses are amazing not only keeping the sun out better than anything I've had, they make everything look more vivid or high definition. Had some Gas Cans with the same lenses but after long days of UTV driving they started to hurt around the ears (but they look awesome 😄). Got these to wear after riding and pulling my trailer home and you can barely tell youre wearing anything. Bought other lenses and sock kit and its like having 2 different pairs. Definitely recommend getting these to anyone who does a lot outdoors.

Solid performance sunglasses that earn their price, but only if you actually use them for activity. These are ideal for casual athletes—running, biking, driving—not someone just wanting fashion shades. I used them for outdoor workouts and long drives, and the clarity and lens coverage are noticeably better than cheaper pairs, especially in bright conditions. They stay put, don’t bounce, and reduce eye strain over time. That said, they feel more functional than premium in hand—lightweight to the point of almost flimsy if you’re expecting a luxury feel. Compared to budget sport sunglasses, the optics are clearly superior; compared to higher-end lifestyle brands, they’re less stylish and more utilitarian. I expected top-tier build and performance; reality is excellent performance with average-feeling materials. Verdict: yes if you value function over flash.

I'll have to update this review because I've only had them for a short while. I did do my homework after I had them in hand to make sure they weren't fakes. They aren't. They are legit. They are well made, comfy, stay on my face and protect my eyes from the sun. I got this model because I do a lot of outdoor activities with my sunglasses on including white water rafting, climbing windy mountains, and wanted these for snowboarding as well. I'm trying to lose the goggles because I see so much better in sunglasses. I will have to give an update as to whether these keep the wind off my eyes at high speed. I will say that I don't think these are made in America like the Amazon says(hardly any Oakleys, or other high end sunglasses are). They came with a really nice case(although very large) and a microfiber soft case along with extra nose pieces. All of the Oakley documentation was included as well in the box. One great thing about this model is how easy it is to change the lenses. That's what usually causes me to buy new sunglasses, and these can be kept for many years by replacing the lenses for about $40 rather than buying a whole new set. There are many lense types that can also be bought by Oakley for this model ranging from $40 to $180 depending on the technology that you want. The iridium are good because your eyes will be protected and since they aren't polarized you can easily read your dash, GPS's and phones while driving. They are also good for seeing the surface of snow, but not as good as polarized for seeing below the surface of water if that's important to you.
