I ordered this box, and the lock mechanism did not work right at all. You could put the key in, but it wouldn't turn left or right, it would jiggle a small, tiny amount and that was it. There was no way to open the box at all, received it shut, locked and unopenable. Contacted the seller via email on the sellers original website, they were amazing about it, they shipped me a brand new box. Responsive to emails, very pleased with them. In fact they shipped me the new box and a UPS label to ship them the old one back, which I still have not done, and I really need to ASAP because the seller was really cool. It's a good sturdy box, very heavy duty, a person would have to work really hard to bust this thing open. I recommend it!

The lock has broken on ours where the key won’t turn anymore. We bought this in August and just after the September return window. It’s failing now. Really disappointing. It’s a newer version from their older box which has been working for over 10 years. We just need a second one. The box is strong metal and it’s a lot of work. It would be great now it doesn’t serve the purpose we need it for.

Nice size. I'm not sure if it is what I would choose to keep valuables in. But it's a good deterrent to keep children out of things that are unsafe for them.

My mom is in assisted living and needs to keep her meds locked-up. This is a nice box but it's tricky to unlock. Also wish there were larger sizes. I'm sure my mom isn't the only person taking a lot of prescriptions, many that come in large bottles or boxes. Overall, it's good though.

This lockable safe is durable and has enough capacity for my needs. Great value for the money. This will be one to recommend to friends and family.

I only used it about a ten times and now the lock doesn’t turn or work. So, I am unable to lock it and it is now useless.

Locking mechanism was assembled incorrectly. It was an easy fix, just a matter of adjusting the catch. Also, the key must be flush with constant pressure or the lock will not rotate to lock and unlock. Well built otherwise, spacious, and looks clean. Good product they just need better quality control.

I have one of these and have trouble with the locking mechanism. Thought it was just me. Bought another for spouse and locking mechanism on new one does not lock at all.
