My Go-to Blade For Porcelain

All tile blades have different Properties and this is my preferred blade for hard porcelain. To minimize wobble, be sure to cut slowly. And to minimize chipping, use a length of masking tape on the tile. A good dressing stone will help to ensure longevity!

i like it so far

i have been using "hot dog" blades for years, but this is comparable and much cheaper. so far so good.

works just fine

works much better than the cheap blade that came with my QEP saw. have only cut ceramic with it so far but have some harder stone on my next project so hopefully it can keep up. the blade that came with the saw didn't even make it through 2 jobs before being worthless even after using a dressing stick. UPDATE: i have since used the blade to cut porcelain, silestone 24" quartz tiles and more ceramic. It works great as long as you're not too picky on having the glass chip a little on the edges of the cut. It handled the quartz great. definitely get yourself a dressing stick to continually sharpen the blade and extend its life

THIS BLADE IS AMAZING!

NO CHIPPING WHEN CUTTING MARBLE!!!I am cutting several thousand small pieces of marble from 12 x 12 x 3/8 inch tile for mosaics and had a real chipping problem with a blade I bought form another company for about the same price. I flipped tile, slowed the feed, used masking tape, pinched the tile close to the blade and just about every other trick in the book to keep the marble tile from chipping; all to no avail. Once I switched to this blade I never had another chip that wasn't caused by some flaw in the marble. No more flipping tiles to cut from both ends, no more pinching, slowing, taping or anything else. I even cut a 1/8 inch wide by12 inches long piece from 3/8 inch marble tile just to see what would happen. What happened is I ended up with a 1/8" x 12" piece of tile; no chips or breaks. That's remarkable for any saw blade. I haven't had it long enough to know how long it lasts, but I have made several hundred linear feet of cuts through 3/4 marble (2 tiles stacked on top of each other) and so far so good. This blade is amazing and is the only blade I'm buying for my marble work from now on.

Very Nice Blade - Look no further

this blade is worthy of 5 stars. the thin kerf is the key if you are cutting 1.5 inch concrete pavers. I have 1500 sqft of pavers to lay... it allows it to cut around 2 times faster than comparable non-thin kerf blades. I bought 2 Concord segmented blades that were wider and those load up the motor when you try and push faster. the thicker blades work fine for small 1/4 tile - but he cut is rougher of course. I also used this black widow blade for cutting 1/4 inch glass tile for my pool. it cut them like butter and now I using the blade on the pavers above (some light splintering on glass tiles can be expected but he grout takes care of the any rough edges. Buy the Black Widow thin Kerf blade and you will not go wrong. I am selling my other thick blades on EBAY

Do not buy

I am a remodeler and purchased this blade to install porcelain flooring tile, after only about 150 square feet of install the blade started to drastically perform poorly. I just went and purchased a dewalt blade. Do not let this price entice you just spend the extra money for a better blade.

It is okay.

Neighbor helped me build some steps. He did most the planning and I did most of the cutting. We used a Dewalt wetsaw and about halfway through this project the Dewalt blade had had enough (it was very used to start with). So I ordered this blade. It certainly works and maybe for the price difference it is a better buy.Once cutting it is super sharp and had no issues. But I noticed that as I started the cut, as the teeth tried to grip, there was more play than with the Dewalt blade. I had to work harder to get the cut how I wanted it.So for straight cuts maybe this isn’t so bad. But if you’re thinking of making a pattern or need intricate cuts- I’d go brand name.
