8 Inch All-Purpose Ergonomic Scissor (SCI8EST-TEAL), Teal/Black

There's not a lot to say about scissors for the most part. These scissors are priced fairly, they are sharp and cut well and they have a little weight to them, which tells me they're a quality product.

I'm very pleased with these scissors. I use them for cutting paper and opening packages by sliding the blade across the packaging tape over a cardboard box. The blade and precision of how they clamp down makes a very smooth cut through paper. You'd think that any scissors would make the same quality of cut through paper, but in my experience not all scissors are the same. Low quality scissors don't make a smooth cut, and they have a tendency to make small tears or make it difficult to do a straight cut. I do a lot of precision cutting of paper in all kinds of shapes for the purpose of making cardboard presentations at work...so I really need the edges of the paper to look neat, clean and straight as possible. These scissors make cutting an easy and precise job.

I like Stanley's tools in general. I fix a lot of things so I bought all my equipment from them. This pair of scissors is 8 inches long. It was bought for my office. It is ergonomic, pleasant to hold and it is sharp. Oh yes, it definitely cuts so please put it out of reach if you have children. It is made of titanium because it is a light material that is very strong and will last for a while. Moreover, certain material like adhesive do not adhere to it which makes it easier when you cut adhesive ( like when opening amazon parcel). I like the graduation printed on the side, it can be helpful.

Good quality, easy to use, good value for the money, and are very sharp. 4 stars because every few years the handles break. Otherwise, I would've called them "high quality."

These seemed like fairly good scissors but they certainly didn't last long. I was looking for slightly heavier duty than general-purpose scissors for arts & crafts. These scissors appear to be good quality and feel heavier weight than regular scissors, and they're comfortable to hold and use, but they weren't particularly sharp to start with. The word "Piranha" in their name must refer to some other characteristic of that fish, and for $10 I wasn't actually expecting "Premium" but I was genuinely surprised when they snapped into two pieces while cutting twine after 6 months of moderate use. The weak point is the pivot pin. It's made of 2 pieces: a metal flat head screw (bolt) and a molded piece of plastic (nut). The plastic nut snapped apart where the threaded section becomes a solid square head and the two blades completely fell apart. Shortest lived scissors I've ever had.

Great price; built strong and solid. Excellent, effortless cutting. You will not go wrong.

Cost reflects the quality.

Fantastic pair of scissors. Purchased them to cut kt tape, rock tape, spider tape and kinesio tape. Rest assured, they do the job! K tape scissors cost upwards of 50-60$ but this pair of titanium scissors more than does the job and doesn't get held up by the adhesive. Other titanium scissors didn't do the job, these will! :D
