Extremely well packaged. It's very nice and well constructed. The cane is sturdy and once assembled looks like it's one piece. The top knob is very heavily made and looks great. I'm going to use lock tight between the sections and that will ensure that they don't unscrew. I highly recommend it. However, I don't recommend it for shorter people because its length isn't adjustable.

Another perfect affordable prop. Good realistic heft. Only difficulty was getting lost the first time because of flimsy packaging and the fact that it breaks down for storage and shipping. Company quickly replaced item. Best prop walking stick I have run across at the price.

I hate to tell other reviewers thar said this is not a proper. Yes it is. First, it's a three piece shaft, but it will probably still support weight. The top handle is solid, but it's crooked because the threads are crooked. I'd have to fill the old threads and retread it for it to be straight. It's crooked enough that you don't have to look closely at it to see that it's crooked. The wood of the three shafts are very blemished. Just from other reviews I'm seeing, all of them are like this. So sending it back to get another one would be a waste of time. So, since I'm not actually using it to walk with and as cheap as it was. I'll probably just keep it and refinish it and Redhill the top. Luckily I can do things like that, others not so much. I bought this as an accessory to a top hat I have coming to do a few costumes. A Dracula from the Bela Lugosi Dracula in the scene where he's wearing a top hat and carrying a cane. A mortician that I have a picture of from universal studios and the top hat without the cane for a Svengoolie costume. I just need a couple wigs. If I had bought it for any other reason, it would definitely have gone back.

I liked this thing because it was exactly what I needed for an upcoming costume event. It was reasonably priced, and it feels good in the hand.
