Easy to install
This is my second replacement my first lasted 8 years.This one took about 3minutes to install at the most.

Works Great
Purchased this unit months ago, easy to replace, still working great. Before cubes were always hanging up on the old unit, once I took it out I realized cube tray had gotten corroded, which was why the cubes were hanging up. After replacement it rarely happens.

We bought in July 23& as of April 2024 it has quit working …. Not even a year! Poor quality

Easiest install project! Not sure why we waited so long to tackle this project. It was basically plug and play! Love having ice cubes again

Perfect replacement for p/n 2198597
Got it in two days, nicely packaged (I bought one from another seller that arrived broken and then they cancelled my replacement). In my case I had to swap the flat plastic bottom piece from the old icemaker and put it on this one. Took about 10 minutes total from opening the package to having it installed.Even though it says it may take up to 24 hours to start making ice, ours has already made two batches in the two hours since I installed it.

Arrived quickly with useful instructions. More detailed how-to disassemble and assemble for the various refrigerator brands would be nice. Very basic info provided.

Works perfectly and easy installation
Installed easily, exact fit and produces ice faster than the one it replaced. At a fraction of the price of OEM, this unit is great value. Better instructions would have helped but YouTube fixed that. Hopefully it lasts.
