10/10 would recommend! I used this on top of an old twin mattress that was lumpy and this mattress topper made me feel like I was sleeping on a brand new mattress. There is enough padding to mask any lumpiness in an old mattress. It is true to size and didn't slide around with a top sheet over it. I never tried washing it and honestly don't know the best way to clean an item like this but if you place a mattress protector over it, you shouldn't have a need to clean it.

This is my second Zinus Swirl topper and I could not be happier. We had the first one for 10 years and it performed beautifully. We recently changed our mattress after 20 years so I decided to purchase a new topper. and repurposed the old one to a guest bed. It still has plenty of support and softness left in it. This is well and truly the best topper I have found and I have tried a lot of them. As for it's cooling effect I do think it helps. Our goal was comfort and support, and that's exactly what this topper delivers. An added bonus is the stability that the Zinus provides. There is a 75lb difference in my weight and my husbands and the topper has greatly improved the motion that I feel when he moves around at night, ( no more bouncy nights.)

Okay for the price. Lightweight and semi comfortable. Not thick. I’d definitely order up in thickness. Mine is a bit too low. High quality.

Update: 7/20/24Finally got around to ordering the "new" version. It's not even memory foam. You push down on it and it literally INSTANTLY pops right back up. I laid on it for about two minutes and the same thing... It has no "memory" because it never conforms in the first place, and HOT is an understatement. I have chronic pain issues, so it's extra important what I sleep on, and there's no way I could sleep on this thing. It's a sad day for me, because these were the only toppers that I used for years. They used to be so good, but once again, someone's gone and ruined a good thing. Lord knows I gave them every chance I could. So now I don't recommend the new version (unless you're looking for a topper that doesn't conform), OR the old version. Regarding the old version, between my own recent experience (see below) and many other people's recent reviews of that version, it appears to me that the stock that they have left has somehow gone bad. Maybe they were left for for too long in a hot warehouse? Idk, because they're clearly still the same toppers that I have loved all these years, but they're damaged/messed up.Old version, last purchased in March 2024:I've been buying these toppers for years. They are quite different from other toppers, in all the best ways. I've always raved about them. I don't even know how to explain their texture, but it's just different from the other memory foam toppers out there. I recently decided to buy another one for our spare bedroom, but unfortunately, when I took it out of the box it had this huge lump/crease in the middle never went away. Also, 2 of the corners and near the edge of one side was permanently flat and hard like a rock. Silly me never opened it to realize all of this until after the return window had closed, so I'm not very happy about that. That being said, I had never had any issues with them in the past, so I decided to order another one, thinking that the bad one I received was probably just a fluke. Well I have now received it, and it was NOT a fluke. It has the exact same huge crease/lump in the middle, and is permanently flat and hard in other areas. Also, when you lay on it, underneath instantly flattens completely down and gets rock hard, and it doesn't retain its original shape for a ridiculously, not at all normal, amount of time. I'm returning it and I'm going to try the new version. When I do I will update this review. I really hope the new one still has the same feel as the old ones (when they're not damaged), because I don't know what I will do if I can no longer get these toppers.

This product meets our needs as a mattress topper for our son's twin mattress on the bottom of a bunk bed. It took a while to inflate once opened. It had no noticeable smell. Overall it is comfortable. It has held up well for the several months we have had it. Would purchase again.

So here’s a detailed & honest review: I got the 3inch one for a full sized mattress in October - put it together in November - used it for 2ish months and took it off in January - tested my bed back without it to now - here are thoughts by end of FebruaryTaking it out the box was fine, took 24-48hours to expand, didn’t smell weird or anythingHowever in last 2 photos you can see it didn’t quite expand to a complete rectangle and some edges were slantedInitially I got this because I had horrible back pain and was trying to figure out how to sleep better - in the 2ish months I slept on it, my back pain got worse - taking it off I’m just back where I started.Here’s what I think was the issue - you can see in some photos it dents down when you put weight on it (obviously this happens) , I loved the feeling of it , it was comfy , but as soon as I slept on it so my weight was on it for hours at a time, the indents became kinda like crevices that I would get stuck in, and I move around alot in my sleep so I would end up sleeping all wonky and lumpy on it after my body shape indented and then wouldn’t change - (I hope this makes sense)I think the 3inch maybe is the issue and with a 1 inch or something it would allow you to move with the indents more for support verses get stuck in the indents and no correct support. Not sure though.Obviously I can’t return it now and I have no idea on how to get it back into a box haha, so I don’t know what to do with it yet its just shoved into a closet, also sucks I’m back to square one on how to make my bed comfier for my back pain(Also other details: the bed I have is from the same company! It’s the 12inch green tea infused one, Only 4/5 years old (I think it’s just too stiff for me) - & I weigh 150 if you’re wondering the weight on the topper)Anyways this was a lot of information, but I hope some of this helps anyone
