Racing Hyrax 1.9 G8 Rock Terrain Truck Tires 2 PRO1012814 RC Tire

I am loving these tires! I purchased a set for my TRX-4 K10. They look and work great. Nice soft and sticky compound. I would highly recommend these tires if you're looking for an upgrade.

Best tires for Michigan

I've paired these tires up with Injora 1.9 beadlock wheels. The added weight helps the crawler stay planted, and these tires grip amazingly. I was getting up rocks that were wet and covered in moss no problem. They appear to have better grip than my Canyon Trails. There are lots of small sipes and tread blocks. I don't think they would do great in mud, but that's not where I plan on taking these. The original foams on my TRX-4 were disintegrating and smelled foul. My original intention was to buy foams and wheels but re-use the Canyon trail tires. It was impossible to remove them without stretching the rubber, long story short, the original tires couldn't fit the beadlocks. I ordered these Proline Hyrax G8 tires and they fit no problem. The included foams did great, I'm sure the more expensive foams would handle better, but I have no need for more performance than what was included. They deformed great to grab onto rocks, and even though the tires do rub when the suspension is flexed, I never had any issues getting stuck.

Proline has the best rubber compound hands down! Stays sticky, better the more you wear them in! I won't run another tire after finally getting these! I've gone through so many cheaper tires thinking I was saving money, but I was wasting it. Seriously game changing.

The only downside? It's G8, not Predator. But these tires were made almost to perfection. Treads for tractions are real good, with a nasty sidewall bite. One of the only ways this can be made better is if it's used vented and paired with a real soft insert. Brass helps too. These are Hyrax, one of the well-loved design in the RC hobby world

These tires are amazing on ice and snow. They seem to not have the best grip on smooth surfaces because the contact patch is smaller, however I think this will improve as they wear. Rough surface and rocky terrain however they just grip and go even when wet and snowy. They are not however mud tires. The mud will build up in the lugs. I knew this going in because a reviewer had commented how they got full of dog poo. (Thanks fellow human) they seem to sling the mud out without too much trouble though and knowing anything about mud tires you'd already be aware of this. TRX-4 owners should be aware that these are more square than the stock tires and may require slight modifications or raising the body one notch especially when paired with a slight larger wheel. And even with that may rub like the stock tires did under extreme circumstances. Its possible with the factory radio to adjust the max steering angle to accommodate this also although I chose not to. Overall I'm extremely happy with these tires.

My first pair of hyrax tires from pro line. Not my first pair of pro lines . I already know they have the best quality of rubber and durability. The older they get the better they grip . They will fit any 1.9 wheel . Idk how it happened but I got them for 24 bucks for a full set. I got way more than a deal value for the money 10/10
