Beautiful detail! I've loved everything I've ordered with Norse Tradesmen!

Beautiful wooden bowl. Handhewn inside and out. Elaborate design on the handles. Made a REAL wood. Stained to a dark brown color. Couldn't be happier with this purchase. I filled it to overflowing with various size roses and it is breathtaking.

Saw this on Amazon after looking high and low for a unique dough bowl. Was immediately certain that this was the one.After carefully reading the reviews I was skeptical, but hopeful that I would be one of the fortunate buyers that received aNice piece.I couldn’t have been more disappointed.It came double boxed, however the inside box was pierced by the pointed ends, as there was no protection to stop it from tearing into the cardboard.Once opened there was a huge noticeable crack that ran through the inside of the bowl around the upper side and to the back. The feet were cheap stick on rubber pads, and the bowl wobble severely on a flat surface.It was also coved in some type of white substance. Upon further inspection it is stamped on the bottom by the vendor, however it is actually made in India.The bowl inside diameter is considerably smaller than the dimensions described.It was a nice picture of what could have been, but really disappointing in person.Messaged the seller to explain if this could possibly just have been a bad bowl and if anything could be done as far as better packing. The response was it was possibly damaged in shipping. That was just not true, it was a poor quality, light weight, wobbly and cracked.Sent back immediately the next day for refund.Was considering a second try with the larger bowl, but with the seller being so dismissive, I’m hesitant. Good thing is, you can always return.Will write a second review on the bigger one if I decide to order.Overall I believe it’s hit or miss.Either way certainly not worth the price point.EDIT:Sent the small bowl back and ordered the larger. It was perfect! More like a trench bowl,Beautiful, not one single flaw and fits nicely on my kitchen table.Wonderful product, very pleased, well worth the price.

I am absolutely blown away by the quality of this bowl. It looked cool in pictures, but seeing it in person is something else! It is heavy duty, beautifully crafted with great detailing. It is a great statement piece that we are happy to have on our table to show off to guests. We are so happy with this purchase.

I was really hoping that my Viking bowl would be as great as other reviewers indicated, but unfortunately it is not. On the inside of the bowl I can clearly see where quite a bit of wood putty has been used to even out the seams, so I’m not sure of the bowl is still food safe. On one edge at the beginning of the carved design, it looks like the wood broke and another piece of wood was glued in, however the design was not completed properly. Also the bowl is not the color depicted in the photo, mine is a muddy brown, not the soft grayish brown as depicted. All these flaws wouldn’t have bothered me so much if the bowl had been less expensive. I’ll just have to wait see if my husband likes it enough to keep it.

I have looked for one for years. This is a beautiful size and color. Arrived overnight. Stunning.
