pleasantly surprised. having short very thin nails (from so much nail work), i wanted to find an alternate to my go-to gel nails. these are a light more "skin tone" beige color. instead of the neutral pink you see in the Amazon pics. &i was concerned about the gold stripe..having short nails, but i just... did those ones..upside down. they have a slight stretch to them, so if you use a metal cuticle pusher instead of the tiny wood one given, you can make it go EXACTLY, where you want. im on day 2 & am VERY active. wash my hands like +20x a day, etc. so we'll see how these do. will update in 2weeks. but so far, they feel REALLY good.&unlike gel, they look exactly the same as the day i did them. (gel tends to lose its luster alil every day). oh &these were crazy easy to put on. just peel it off from the (top)nail end, hold the tip with the tip of your finger, slightly pinch the end to curl it into a nail shape, then place it right over the nail, right at the cuticle line, drop it down carefully so just the center touches, then use the metal cuticle pusher to get the cuticle line... JUST RIGHT&work your way up the nail. my first 2 nails took like 10min, but then i was flying. this is great to do on a rush too!! doing your own gel &cure nails takes SO LONG! MY ONLY negative is i wish they were thicker. they have the thickness of maybe one layer of gel. that's it. but not taking a star for that. just hoping they do in the future.

This was only my second experience with semi-cured nails. I have naturally long nails. This color is a semi-transparent nude pink with some modern gold line accents. I think the product is great overall but I will try different colors in the future. The good: - No dry time! Cured in 60 seconds. - Lasted 9 days with doing dishes, washing hands a lot, etc. -Protected my natural long nails from tears The not so good: -This transparent color shows imperfections of natural nails and amplifies them vs hiding. And shows air bubbles underneath adhesive. - There is a big learning curve to sizing appropriately and lining up on your nail just right so the strips cover the whole nail bed. Pro tip: Trim off as much excess from the tip of the nail BEFORE curing so you cut down on your filing time drastically. It cures HARD and takes some time to file down smoothly in alignment with your natural nail edge.

So far the nails seem decent, they hardened under UV light. I ordered the basic nail and the photos make it seem more of a solid tan ish color but they are opaque so basically just add a hardened shell to my nail vs a fake nail look I was going for which is why I took off a star. I’m not sure how they hold up yet and will try to remember to update after a few days
