VIGOROSO Vintage Hand Wind Up Pocket Watches for Men, Mechanical Pocket Watch with Chain, Mens Skeleton Pocketwatch

Used to use it for work since I don't like having anything on my wrist and we're not supposed to pull out phone out in front of guests at work. Every time I pulled it out I got some sort of comment or compliment on it. Everyone loved it. It's a wind up pocket watch, so it'll live forever.. With that said, if you let it run for long amounts of time (say 23-48 hours) you'll start noticing that the time very slowly becomes inaccurate and need slight readjusting. Honestly it just gave me another reason to pull it out, so I didn't mind it much.Look wise, it's gorgeous and I've had friends ask where I got it. It's fairly durable, although I did have to do some minor maintenance on it as a strand of hair somehow got into the watch itself and tangled in the gears. But it was easy to take the covers off and remove that hair carefully with tweezers.

This is my first pocket watch and I have been happy with the watch performance thus far. It keeps good time, I have not had to reset it since I got it. Given that is it's main function I would give that a 5 star for that. I like the open design that lets you see the movement (the mechanical bits inside) but with that comes a flaw of the design. The hands of the watch are a serious issue. They are very pretty but small and thin. On a solid dial they might be fine, but with the open dial they can be hard to see. The hour hand ends just before the dial numbers (which is normal for a watch) but this means that none of it has anything but the movement behind it. The minute hand is only slightly better as the tip is over the dial ring a little. It would have been better with a more beefy set of hands. Also just a nit-pic, but could someone tell them the roman numeral for 4 is IV not IIII. I mean seriously they got 9 and 11 right how did they mess up 4?

This is so much lovelier than the photo. You can see the numbers through the holes, which is a convenient option. The face is easy to open, and the inside is crisp and clean. Nice length of chain. It is a gift for someone else, so I have not experienced wearing it.

This pocket watch does not keep time, is mostly made of cheap plastic, and has no mineral crystal, which is also made of plastic. Its price is too high for a useless product. This is another example of poor-quality Chinese products going to the garbage.

I got both silver and gold. Appear to be good quality. Beautiful visible mechanics. Looks nice with my three piece suits' vests!

I was delighted with this watch when first it arrived...solid and handsome. It worked well for a few months, then began a quick decline...stopping inexplicably after having been wound, then... yesterday it stopped and cannot be wound. I am very disappointed.
