Great Prenatal
I just completed the entire bottle of prenatal so I feel ready to review them! (I’m currently 39 weeks pregnant) I have a very sensitive stomach and when taking these I didn’t have any issues with stomach upset, digestive changes or nausea. I’m not a huge fan of how expensive they are but most prenatal vitamins are expensive so I bit the bullet due to the clean ingredients. I got the citrus flavor and they taste/smell like lemon which I liked. If you take them WHEN you’re eating or directly after you can avoid the fishy burps, BUT if you take them too long after you ate the burps are vile. It’s a fishy- musty taste that is disgusting. The only thing that has me in limbo about purchasing again is the color change. I did not have anything super drastic like I see in the other reviews but they do darken over time. It says not to store them in direct sunlight, which I did not but over the month they did darken a bit. I’m pretty curious as to why that happens. Besides that I am very happy with these vitamins. UPDATING: so I’ve been taking these vitamins for quite some time. I am four months postpartum and I’m still taking them as I am nursing my son I tried the mint and it was not for me, but I stick with the citrus and I have to say I love it. My stomach is no longer as sensitive as it was when I was pregnant, so I haven’t had one fishy burp or issue since I was pregnant. However, I do always take the vitamins after eating. I can honestly say that I have much better energy during the day when I take them and I do feel like they keep me regular. It’s definitely a staple and now I have them on recurring orders monthly. If you’re thinking about it I say you should give it a try!

Clean ingredients and easy to tolerate, according to my wife’s experience
My wife has been taking Ritual Essential for Women for several weeks now, and overall her experience has been positive. One of the main reasons she chose this multivitamin was the clean and transparent ingredient list. She likes that it’s vegan, free from unnecessary fillers, and focused on key nutrients rather than an overwhelming list of vitamins. The capsules are easy for her to swallow and have a light citrus scent, which makes them more pleasant compared to traditional vitamins. Most importantly, she hasn’t experienced any stomach discomfort, even when taking them without food, which has been an issue for her with other supplements in the past. That said, this is not a supplement that provides immediate or dramatic results. It feels more like long-term nutritional support rather than something you notice right away. The price is higher than average, which may be a factor to consider. Overall, based on her experience, this is a solid option for anyone looking for a high-quality, gentle, and well-formulated daily multivitamin.

Great Vitamin for MTHFR Deficiency
I was told that with this pregnancy that I have the MTHFR and protein S deficiency and that I had to take a special kind of prenatal, which stunk because I had just purchased a bunch of high quality prenatals off amazon that I can’t use. I was told by my OB to look for a prenatal with methyltetrahydrafolate. This ended up being a difficult task. I could hardly find anything but did eventually find the ritual brand. I was impressed with the clear capsules with the liquid contents where you could see the ingredients. The pill size was also tolerable as I was taking a prenatal previously that was like a horse pill. I also liked the idea of the pill flavoring as supplements can taste awful. I bought the citrus flavor and it didn’t leave any sort of an aftertaste. One thing I wasn’t crazy about was the price as $43 is pretty steep for once a month. I ended up getting the subscription and saving 15% and then I bought a bunch of bottles during cyber week for about $23 to hold me over for the duration of my pregnancy. They also make a postnatal, which from my understanding with the MTHFR gene I will need to take this form of folate for the rest of my life. I don’t recognize if I have any changes as to energy but I am in my last trimester so everything for me is low energy and I’m always tired. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase. This is great for pregnant women/new moms like me that can’t process folic acid normally and need this other form. ***UPDATE*** I just wanted to update that I am still on this prenatal. It’s been almost 6 months that I’ve been on it and I continue to like taking it. Two capsules a day at night and nothing ever comes back up with an after taste. There’s nothing negative to report. I still recommend this brand and have bottles of the post natal lined up to take after the baby is born. ****Final Update**** I had the baby and switched over to the postnatal. At the moment the postnatal only comes in a mint flavor as the citrus is unavailable. I can’t say it’s my favorite flavor for a pill but the taste is pretty brief. I suggest this as a post step after birth for any ladies that need a good, comprehensive postnatal, which I have heard we all need for ourselves and for the babies (if you’re breast feeding). The most beautiful and promising essential vitamins I've seen!
I value aesthetics and when coming across this brand I had to try it especially after comparing it to other options and I'm glad I did, its so elegant and unique and to me that couples in value within the entire sensory experience while caring for my health. I personally bought this version which is a prenatal vitamin yet I am using it as my daily essential multivitamin despite not being pregnant - I am sharing this as it is part of the critique and I hope that the seller will consider this as well: 1) the essential every day option is flavored with mint and mint makes me nauseous so I chose this citrus-flavored one 2) when comparing the essential option with this one, this one has more beneficial ingredients and at high percentages so on a cost analysis level, this seems more effective and fiscally efficient. I share this to suggest that the seller either make a non-mint flavored essential option and to also consider increasing their percentages to make an essential vitamin option for non-pregnant women, otherwise I will be buying this prenatal version. This is not health advice and please do your own research but to me, out of both the seller's options, this one seemed better to go with. My photos gives a size comparison and also more details/an example of what the pills look like - beautiful little golden tubes slightly scented citrus, how lovely! The scent is subtle and fades quickly and I also think its wise to realize and make sure you take the full serving daily - 2 capsules, not one a day. For that reason, it might not be the most lucrative and I wish the seller could make this into a once daily serving because to me, why the need to have 2 pills instead of making it into one? Also, while this is a slight annoyance rather than a critical review that should sway your opinion on the product's quality, as I care about presentation, I was shocked they slapped the barcode sticker there and how difficult it was to remove - I had to use soap and scrub off. I'm glad I took the time as now the bottle is pretty...for how much this costs and how they seem to focus on beauty, I'm surprised they didn't think of placement and to make removing the stickers easier for their customers. To me this matters as I wanted to buy this as its one of the prettiest bottles I've seen and I plan to reuse the same bottle for storing future purchases, on top of the supposed/claimed health benefits. I just received and started using so it'll be too early to review for the true absorbency or effectiveness but they were easy to swallow and an overall pleasant experience and well-rounded for women's health, whether you're pregnant or like me, using it because I don't like mint and I looked and this version has more percentages of the same things as their regular essential daily multivitamin option. Perhaps this will be helpful for others making a decision or the seller. Either way I am pleased and satisfied and hope for better health for us all - and congratulations and best wishes to all those pregnant and welcoming children into their lives!

Doesn’t settle right in my tummy
I wanted to love this prenatal so much. I don’t hate it, it has a lemon flavor to it. But oh my goodness like about roughly 3 hours after taking it I’m constantly burping up what tastes like fish oil and in turn it made taking this during the first trimester nearly impossible as it would kick up my nausea almost immediately and I would end up throwing up for the most part. I’m finishing it now during the start of my 2nd trimester and now it’s just the fishy tasting burps that make me lose my appetite and make me not so happy that I am taking this one. Maybe it’s just not for my stomach.

MY GO TO PRENATALS
If you’re looking for a prenatal vitamin that feels truly modern, transparent, and thoughtfully designed, **Ritual Prenatal** is in a league of its own. From the moment you open the bottle, you can tell this isn’t your typical chalky, hard-to-swallow supplement. The capsules are sleek, easy to take, and have a subtle lemon essence that actually makes them pleasant—yes, pleasant—to swallow. For anyone dealing with morning sickness, that detail alone is a game changer. What really sets Ritual Prenatal apart, though, is the science-backed formulation. Instead of cramming in dozens of questionable ingredients, Ritual focuses on the nutrients that truly matter during pregnancy—like methylated folate (instead of synthetic folic acid), choline for brain development, DHA for baby’s neural growth, and gentle, non-constipating iron. Every ingredient has a purpose, and you know exactly where it’s sourced from. That level of transparency builds serious trust. Another standout? The delayed-release capsule. It’s designed to dissolve in the small intestine instead of the stomach, which helps reduce nausea and that unpleasant vitamin aftertaste. For many expecting moms, that thoughtful design makes daily consistency much easier. Beyond the formula, the brand experience feels premium and intentional. The minimalist packaging, refill system, and commitment to traceability reflect a company that genuinely cares about both maternal health and sustainability. In short, Ritual Prenatal delivers on what matters most: * Clean, research-backed ingredients * Excellent tolerability * Transparent sourcing * Smart, pregnancy-specific nutrient support For anyone preparing for pregnancy, currently expecting, or in the postpartum phase, this is a prenatal that feels empowering—not overwhelming. It’s not just another vitamin; it’s a carefully crafted support system for one of the most important seasons of life. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended.

Bad Reflux
Love the ingredients. Gave me TERRIBLE reflux all day long causing me to switch to a competing brand.

Indigestion taste
I've always loved these prenatal vitamins! Yes they are a little pricey, but worth the cost in my opinion with all of essential vitamins needed! I've tried other vitamins and always find myself returning to this brand! Only downside when and if you have indesgestion you can taste the vitamins, but nothing crazy or out of the ordinary!
